You do need to actually be a uni student though but if you do imho its the best deal possible, and I would say cheapest you can get a mac anytime this year (barring new products and old ones going on sale).

  I bought a brand new M1 13 inch Macbook Air yesterday for ^$1109 from JB Castle Hill. I asked and they were able to price match Apple edu’s $1349 and also offered me a $240 JB gifttcard (similar to Apple deal). I think this is better than Apple giftcard deal as it could be used for variety of other products.

    Great deal! Just fyi for anyone else reading just incase just consider that Apple has a 14 day no questions asked money back policy. So incase you were deciding between 14’or 16’ size. Also AppleCare is 20% off which for the MacBook Pro 16’ is normally $649 so you can save an extra $128 only through Apple! So you can put the gift card towards AppleCare which I definitely recommend doing!
