I've got one of these and its pretty decent. It does on rare occasion suffer from the typical Razer peripheral drop out. Where the mouse wont come back to life until its reconnected. What I like best about this mouse, is the two buttons of the left clicker. They are in a great position for gaming.

Yes, its been cheaper and may be again. $65 seems a fair price.

Negative is that it uses AAA/AA batteries, no charging capability.

  • I have a different model from razer (basilisk hyperspeed x) which has got the same issue you mentioned - occasionally the mouse was disconnected and needed to be turned off/on again to get reconnected. Also the battery needs to be 1.5V, if I used a recharable battery which is usually 1.2V then the Razer central software will report it as 'low batter' even it was freshly recharged, and if I keeped using it, the mouse was disconnected very often.

But overal I think it's still a decent mouse.

(I don't know why it doesn't allow me to post without selecting 'associated with Amazon'. I don't know what it is and I'm not an Amazon seller)

    • I've been using a Razer DeathAdder V2 X Hyperspeed Wireless Ergonomic Gaming Mouse for approx. a year without any issues, other than the battery indication being incorrect with the rechargeables.

Currently using AAA Eleloop Pro and AAA Energizer rechargables, which is probably overkill, but gotta use those ozbargain bargain batteries somewhere.

This mouse is quite possibly my 'end-game' lol.

    • I have the same issue on the Basilisk x hyperspeed despite using 1.5v batteries, it will constantly read low battery regardless.

When this thing decides to drop out, it'll keep dropping out until you remove the battery and leave it alone for 5 minutes. Super fkn annoying. But when it works it's a good mouse

    • I've been using v2x for almost 1 year, no issue with 1.5v li-ion battery except wrong battery indicator in razer software

    • Also same issue with same model. I just take battery in and out and it reconnects
