TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6E System (3-Pack) $568 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys

190

Think this is a good deal for those looking for mesh Wifi 6E.
Was able to pick one up locally Melbourne, getting awesome wireless speeds on my 1000/50 connection.

Added bonus - get a TP link Pan/Tilt Home Security Wi-Fi Camera TC71 + Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Light Strip L920-5 via redemption, they look to go for $149 and $70 approx.

This is a great mesh and I got one myself. It's a step up from my Orbi RBK50 which I've used for many years.

However, I've only paid $503 at TGGC

    • could you share more experience on setup and app usage?

      • +1

Setup is very straightforward. Just turn it on, download the app and it works. Linking a second mesh is as easy as plugging it in.

App shows every device connected to each mesh unit, things seem quite intuitive how to change settings. Haven't gone into much nitty gritty though, it just works.

The setup is pretty damn easy, there are plenty of YouTube clips that shows a run through :)

Their App is much better than Orbi, and it will have more functionality than their web access.

I have this, no issues with the setup, but i have wired backhal between them, handles 150+ devices withiut any issues

    • Wired backhaul is going to be so amazing especially you want to leverage that sweet 6Ghz channel

      • Yes that is what i wanted, but i got pro version

$503 + delivery if you have access to the Good Guys Commercials. My X20 are working fine, but tempting to upgrade to this or hold for some cheap wifi 7

    • You can always pick up as well to save the delivery.

  • using xe75 pro.. damn good. I was using google pro mesh which was shit compared to this.

  • I have these as well. Have been very happy with the product.

  • I have bought this (3 units) and need help with the set up on the Telstra older Smart modem. It is replacing a Google Nest wifi as the points drop out for no reason. Anyone here know the set up settings with the Deco App? TIA

    • Wouldn't you need to turn off the wifi and put the Telstra smart modem into bridge mode and change the Decos to Access Point in the app settings.

      • If you bridge the Telstra modem you keep the Deco in the default router setup. Don't bridge the Telstra modem if you want to use the Deco's as an AP. This only applies to FTTN and FTTB.

Plug-in the Deco router to the nbn box on FTTC, FTTP, HFC and FW.

    • There are a couple of different ways.

      1. Do you have FTTN, FTTB, FTTC, FTTP, HFC, FW? Check here.
      2. Is your ISP Telstra? If not, who?
      3. If your ISP is Telstra do you use Telstra's VoIP and 4G fail over?
  • Amazing setup - Cannot go wrong. Amazing Price too :)

  • I use these, easy to setup & as others say, it just works. Highly recommend.

  • Are these just mesh APs , so you need a modem in bridge mode?

    • +1

It can be a router. Modem only needed for DSL connections.

    • Deco can be used as a router or wireless APs. You only need to bridge a modem on FTTB and FTTN. Plug-in the Deco router to the nbn box on FTTC, FTTP, HFC and FW.

  • This is a great setup! Have this with 1Gbps NBN and no complaints. 700+Mbps over WiFi to my iphone
