Everyplate is a budget version HelloFresh style meal delivery service where they send you the ingredients and recipe.
Same thing just simpler recipes. Food quality seems OK.

To get the deal:
Use random from the OzBargain referral generator below - you may need to cycle it a few times. (note: there can be a slight delay for the discount to kick in)
Select 4 people and 3 recipes per week to maximise the benefit ($80 off $9.99 delivery)

Pay using PayPal/Credit Card, and select the delivery day as any day other than Tuesday, as you will have to cancel it before Tuesday to avoid getting the next subscription box

  • Keep getting an error message

"We're sorry this voucher cannot be applied to this order"

    • You've already ordered a new customer box before, or your address has

      • Yeah must be the address.

What's the ratio like of root vegetables to other ingredients?

Hopefully better than Hellofresh, who is single handedly carrying the sweet potato industry. I swore of Hellfresh just last week after the 46th night of having to chop sweet potatos…

    • Sweet potato and carrots

    • EveryPlate and hello fresh are the same company. But every plate is the budget version.
Carrots that go soft after 3 days and zucchini are the most common veggies. Less options than hello fresh.
After several slimy chickens we gave up on both. Not helped with delivery done using an non refrigerated van…

  • referral link says $30 but need to check as it is only $20

    • +1

Yes you are right - I think the referral is only $20 now

      • Could you kindly confirm that it is $20 for both referrer and referee please?

        • Can confirm that the last few referrals I received were $20 each. I am not sure what the referee receives though

        • +1

yes for past year I have only received $20

  • Would recommend getting it through Shopback or Cashrewards with their respective Promo Codes. Ends up being a better deal!

    • Better that $10 delivered for 12 meals? Please show us how

    • EDIT: Better deal when they have upsized cashback. CR had $55 cashback recently which was great!

  • Worth a try for the amount of ingredients you get for $10 anyway, will see how they go in the recipe and if they actually feed 4 people though.

    • the portions are pretty good, chicken is usually 660gm for 4 people etc

  • Does anyone know whether the free/discounted boxes are limited to one per address? Fair to say I gave my previous address a work out with multiple email addresses, have they closed that loophole?

  • +2

i rorted all the free boxes i could with my old address, it got blacklisted, any discounted orders said "address is invalid" on hellofresh
it would work fine with a full-price order, no worries.

my trick is to use Unit Numbers, or A,B C, or Rear, Or Side to mix up your address, or get the spelling incorrect or use a suburb close to you In the same postcode and put the actual address in the comments.
I live in a detached house, so I could do all the combinations, and it still gets to me.

i probably rorted 9 months of free boxes.

also have a few domains to make "new email addresses"
also "lose" your credit/debit card monthly so you get a new card number.
also get $2 sims / free eims monthly

    • Good tips! Where do you get your $2 sims/ free esims?

    • +1

      This is hilarious

    • AFAIK they will also happily debit your account then put your plan on hold if the address etc is flagged as being used before, plenty in the forums about HF being difficult with accounts refunds etc

Need to cancel after receiving first box I assume?

    • You can select 'skip' for the following week(s) when you order and then cancel when ready.
Takes the pressure off a bit

      • Thanks, good idea.

  • Just received my box and gotta say thank god it costed me only $9.99
Veggies are mostly rotten and tiny sized, meats were in a paper bag and ice packs were all melted.
Tried to contact customer service and it does not directly connect me to actual person. Too much hassle :(

    • Sounds like your local driver is no good.
If your ice packs were melted, I would not eat the meat. I would 100% take photos and contact CS

    • +1

I would get onto the online chat, just keep saying customer service and you will get someone very quickly. When there is an issue like that they must respond quickly

I managed to get a $90 discount which I used to get 3 recipes for 6 people at $9.99!
Now just waiting to see if it doesn't get cancelled :D
