SANUS Simplicity TV Wall Mount SLT3-B2 $79.99 in-Store, $89.99 Delivered Online @ Costco (Membership Required)

Hey All,

I was on the hunt for a wall mount for my 2021 Sony XR-65X90J tv (courtesy of Ozbargain) a few years ago. From my research, it seems that SANUS makes decent wall mounts.

I found that Costco online is selling the Simplicity TV Wall Mount SLT3-B2 for $89.99 (normally $109.99) as a special. I decided to check it out the ACT Costco store (knowing full well, that online prices/discounts don't necessarily transfer over to in-store).

I couldn't find it in store, so I asked a helpful worker who found for me. He did a price check, and to my surprise it was also discounted by $20, coming down to $79.99.

If you can find stock, Aldi has the low profile one for a quarter of that price.

    • Exactly
I bought one and it is good.

Bunnings also have a good range and price too, eg. https://www.bunnings.com.au/click-tv-wall-mount-with-tilt-an…

    • If I remember it correctly I think I saw one for under $10 at Dural

    • Some Bunnings still have older version similar to the link above on clearance for $15, that one also include 2 set of wall plate to hide cable behind plaster too. Be aware that these Click brand with extendable arm has rather short wall bracket that might not cover 2 studs span (450mm), so you might have restriction on positioning the bracket, and all the weight have to be on a single stud.

      • I bought one today and I think it's the older model as per your post. The Model# on Bunnings website is ME20MDW while the one I got is CE27BDL. It does contain 2 sets of wall plate.

Interestingly, CE27BDL is designed for 32"-90" TVs and it is rated up to 60KG.
The 'new' model ME20MDW is for 32" - 65" and a Max weight of 40KG only

I needed one to mount a 75" TV so I would prefer the old model.

Many thanks for your post. I just need to check the wall bracket fits 2 studs span.

You bought it as Dural, right? I think price marked as $6-$7.

I am a bit worry to mount a TV on wall.

  • It was slightly cheaper 16 months ago.

I think this is the one that lgacb08 is referring to.

  • I just picked up a ton of these when they were $10..they were great!

  • There's a cheaper and much better one at Bunnings - see Pork Chop's link above. Installed one of these with a large Sony TV and they are great

    • I bought a Sony X90L 75 inch TV during last week's sale and I am interested to learn if the wall mounting bracket linked in my above post can hold it. The bracket is rated at 40kg and up to 65" TV. The Sony X90L 75" is ~35kg without the legs.

      how large is your TV?

      • Size won't matter - only weight and VESA mount used.

  • This is not even close to a deal, go on ebay and you can get a fully articulating one for 55 bucks from a reputable dealer e.g. Selby, let alone a more fixed one like this.

Thanks for the contribution OP, but in this case I gee like the neg is worthy so tht others don't think this is deal worthy

    • I agree; however, you aren't getting an articulated mount for close to $55 bucks. Maybe 80 to 100 if you're lucky.

That TV only weighs 23kg, you could’ve used any number of cheaper mounts that cost less than half that SANUS mount with your TV. I've bought a few mounts from selby over the years for myslef, friends and family, never had any issues with a single one. Here is a swivel mount that is rated for 60kg that costs just $39. As others have noted there are plenty of options out there. TV mounts are just bent pieces of steel, even cheap ones should work well, especially for light TVs.
