Anyone converts from MX Anywhere to these? my Trusty MX Anywhere is getting worn out switches, and the newer 3s versions are like twice the price of the previous gens, and the software has gotten so much worse with recent updates..

I've got both the Razer Pro Click Mini and the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S. The Razer with a single AA alkaline weighs 89g whilst Logitech weighs 94g. Both very similar in size and button layout and both have infinite/smooth scroll.

I much prefer the Logitech in terms of build quality, the Razer feels hollow and a bit cheap by comparison. I prefer the switches and scrollwheel of the Logitech in terms of tactility, Logitech has a deeper clicking sound. The scroll wheel on the razer feels very cheap and unbalanced with the infinite scroll, whilst the Logitech is very smooth, same ones that used on the MX Master 3S.

I've got stock skates on both of them and they both feel about the same on a regular desk mat.

The Logitech MX Anywhere 3S has been on sale down at this pricepoint. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/822873

      • Also got my MX Anywhere S2 for around this price at HN. I assume the deal will be back.
MX Anywhere has the function to switch between devices which is handy some time.

      • Wow great reply, I appreciated it. I was also looking to see if I should move from logitech to this. Will stick with my mx anywhere 2. Thanks

      • I agree, Razer mice in general feels so cheap, the clicks and scroll feels so cheap and unrefined, at first I thought it was just a low end model I purchased but after seeing some high end models it’s all the same cheap feeling plastic. I learnt to fix my logitech switches by either cleaning the copper inside the switches or replacing it complete but that will require some soldering skills

      • Cheers, will have to keep an eye out for another discount like that! I'm also got like 3 logitech unified receivers in different devices and being able to switch between them with a single press is something I'd definitely miss!

      MX Anywhere 3S Was $77 and $84.

    • I've been using Anywhere 3S with Bolt receiver for a while, no issue so far.

    • Razer has a decades-long reputation for making fairly cheap garbage hardware and selling it as premium. Last time I checked around in the keyboard world (couple of years back) this had remained unchanged, so if you're coming from the MX Anywhere (I have two of them), I would not change.

Logitech stuff is unexciting, but it's generally very good.

    • Also a note, Razer doesn’t have software for macOS so if you use a Mac for work and you want to customise buttons, you need to set up the mouse on a Windows machine with Synapse 3 first.

    Any deals on flat clickers?

    • +1

      What's a flat clickers, rowan?

  • Only the left and right mouse buttons are silent every other switch does not appear to be dampened on the pro click mini

  • Looks like this one has 2.4 GHZ Gaming mode , i don't think you can switch back to Bluetooth after going 2.4GHZ Wireless mouse its way more responsive
