If you dont mind Optus network or put off from their prior data breach, this seems like the best $$ per GB deal for 5g network.

its an option - either physical or esim - works the same way

      • Thanks. Of course, it's ether or either choice situation. Just goodgled it haha.

  • expires 10 Mar 2024

I assume we can activate it after 10th March 2024?

EDIT: Disregard - just read: Activate by 3/6/24 for bonus data.

Do they have vowifi when overseas?

  • Thinking of doing this for my 2 year trip overseas as it will cover any data when I have to be back on the odd occasion.

This or the amaysim $10 AYG just to hold my number.

    • This seems wildly excessive in data quota for this purpose. Find a much cheaper option.

      • Only thought is that it includes data rollover so can top up once and over the two years I will surely have it at the other end.

Otherwise the Amaysim is the one to go just to hold my number and get 2FA texts

        • Ah mm. Maybe then. 200gb rollover only but that's still plenty.

          • @lawyerz: Only tempted as That would be plenty in between for sudden trips and would also be used on the back end when I return.

  • “or put off from their prior data breach”… EVERYONE should be put off by this. It’s insane to think how nonchalant people can be regarding their personal data. Optus can continue to get F’d. And folks need to give a shit.

Negligent? Sure. But the horse has already bolted.

The company who fked up is unlikely to repeat it's mistakes anytime soon.

  • What about everyday Mobile for $170. Pay with 5% gift cards making it $161.50. Then when you pay instore you get 2000 reward points. That's another $10 off.

  • +1

Pity! International calls or text not included even after paying more than $200…
On the other hand Boost includes unlimited on Telstra network for the same price, bought last month.

  • Guessing the end of 69 and 99 a year plans

    • There are a couple of 99 plans still around.

  • Bought this a couple days ago. Didn't know Optus was on Cashrewards or Shopback, damn it..

  • gee crappy, open to hackers Optus network or Telstra for not a lot more hmm.
