  • My order from last week arrived today. Thank you :)

  • has anyone ever used the tip function?

    • +4

Yes - lots of people. The tips received actually counter balance the fraudsters so the tips are not only appreciated by myself, but those who can afford to tip and choose to tip actually help keep the prices lower for other Ozbargainers. Without steady tips coming in, prices would rise to cover off on the scammers / those who think its fun/moral etc to game the system.

    • +2

Yes, I always tip at least 10%, sometimes more. Like Jason said, it's a little bit extra to help keep the great deals rolling. With pricing like this there will be very little to no margin on the sales, and if anyone tries taking advantage of it (e.g. fraudulent PayPal claims or CC chargebacks) then any profit is lost. Tips help to…tip the balance in his favour.

Edit: I totally forgot to add - thanks Jason for yet another fantastic deal. A small quantity of C-Zine and a top-up of ibuprofen (even short-dated) is just what I need to slip into the desk drawer at the office.

  • Hi Jason, can you please answer my private message from 04/03/24? I still don't have a confirmation email of my order (not in junk) and it's been over 10 days with nothing delivered.

    • Howdy - sorry I did reply and I sent a screen snip of the dispatch confirmation email, as a hotmail user our messages may be in your spam folder, and depending on how you have hotmail configured these messages (in spam) may be automatically deleted.

Please see above for ibuprofen deal listing, please see the datasheet on the tga website for details concerning the different meds we sell (search by name or AUST R number, ie: https://www.tga.gov.au/resources/artg?keywords=222147 for the ibuprofen.

      • Thank you for replying.

When should I expect delivery for my order made 16/02/24? Can you share tracking?

Please see above for ibuprofen deal listing, please see the datasheet on the tga website for details concerning the different meds we sell (search by name or AUST R number, ie: https://www.tga.gov.au/resources/artg?keywords=222147 for the ibuprofen.

I asked if you sold any paracetamol or ibuprofen with a sugar coating. Nothing about an item in a deal.

        Thanks.

        • +2

I'm trying my best here - I have linked the datasheet to the ibuprofen on the tga website which lists the composition of the medicine (including the coating) - please click through the TGA website for any of our meds which are all Australian delivered and listed on the TGA website.

Without wanting to sound like I provide terrible customer service, we are so cheap we just can't spend 10-20 minutes researching meds for clients, we rely on bulk sales to remain viable, if you need specific advice about a number of meds, it might be best to visit your local pharmacy, we run a retail store and are happy to spend 10-20 mins with clients answering many questions, but in store our prices are also 200-300% more which offsets the time/wages etc.

Per the PM reply - typical delivery is 10 working days, some clients get their items sooner and some a little later. Many clients look out for a parcel, but if envelope shipping was selected, your item ships in a plain white envelope, please check all mail. Keep in mind you live in regional QLD, so delivery is most likely more than 10 working days to your remote postal code.

Is that the only ibuprofen you sell so you've linked the datasheet? I'm just trying to understand why it isn't a yes or no answer that's all. I appreciate you linking the datasheet.

Okay, tomorrow will be 15 business days.

            Thanks for replying.

            • @teacherer: Anything on our website, can be searched on the TGA website. The TGA website will contain far more prescriptive information for your specific queries. We replace any freight lost items for clients, relax if the item is lost we'll replace it, but as stated, you live in regional QLD so >10 days wouldn't be unusual.

Okay no worries, I thought a coating was a simple question, that's all. I can do my own research.

Cheers, my main concern regarding delivery was whether it was dispatched at all, as no confirmation email was received. As I check my junk folder daily. I appreciate your confirmation for the same, and I'm sure it will turn up.

                • @teacherer: I also got no confirmation email on a previous order. Was abused by the rep. Rep eventually apologised cause he knew he was out of line.

      • So I'm not the only one with no confirmation email. The rep abused me claiming despite me telling him that no confirmation email was received. Implied I was a liar and being untruthful + comments about having a gun to his head.

        • +1

Good to know I'm not alone.
I was not my intention to ask publicly but as a private message was ignored 🤷‍♂️

I watch my junk like a hawk and refresh it every time I check my emails, probably 30x per day.

          Very strange.

          • @teacherer: Same was within the deletion period when I checked. Definitely something wrong with their system but OP was too arrogant to acknowledge that and was more focused on abusing me.. claiming I was untruthful. Why would I lie about not receiving a confirmation email 🤣🤣

            • -2

@R3XNebular: The pair of you really should go into a live pharmacy.

The internet sounds like it may not be your thing…

              • @UncleRico: You affiliated with OP? seem to be trolling hard for a response

                • -2

@R3XNebular: You’re trolling harder for a fight’n’whine. Me, I’m just a customer and a fan of low margin, low maintenance pharmaceuticals.

We get it, you didn’t get a confirmation email when your $4.99 package was dispatched. You’ve posted it six times.

It may be time to start moving on with your life…

                  • @UncleRico: If you read my comments properly I didn't have issue with no confirmation email, it was the fact that I was abused by OP. Learn to read…

Refer to my below comment agreeing that OP has good deals

                    • -3

@R3XNebular: If I was the OP, I’d abuse you too.

We are all the poorer for having to listen to your repeated posts about not getting a confirmation email, and then multiple people being mean to you because you whine…

                      • +1

                        @UncleRico: Did I tell you that I didn't get a confirmation email?

                        • -2

@R3XNebular: Yep. And I suspect you also wrote a series of angry letters about it to the Prime Minister, Santa Claus and the advice column Dear Dolly…

  • Thanks Jason, been keeping an eye out for the right combo of meds to finally make an order :) Just wondering if you have any plans for heartburn relief, antacids etc to be stocked?

    • Hi mate - turn your PM on I will send you a link

      • Done, cheers 👍

  • +3

    Good rep
    Good deal
    Fantastic service and prices
    Thanks again

    • I disagree. Rep extremely abusive I have log of messages in ozbargain. He did however apologised cause he knew he was out of line when I threatened to post the log here.

      • +2

He did however apologised cause he knew he was out of line when I threatened to post the log here.

Be careful of that, if you were to post the contents of a PM then you would be violating the OzBargain T&Cs. Read point No. 2 under the Proper Use section.

I am not attempting to take sides in your disagreement with the OP, I'm merely trying to warn you from potentially taking a step that would see you banned from OzB.

        • Thanks wasn't aware, probably end with both OP and I banned if I did considering he was violating condition #1.
Reading #2 I don't think a PM log is intellectual rights?

          • @R3XNebular: Well, it’s a private message intended to be viewed by an audience of only two parties. So, it doesn’t matter which one it violates if you share the contents publicly you’re treading on very thin ice. Best to avoid doing so altogether. If you really feel action should be taken then report it and let the Mods deal appropriately.

            • @Chazzozz: I agree, nah I won't report to mods. I think posting here is suffice. OP actually post's decent deals. Just want to make people aware that following up on orders may end up getting you abused especially if you state that you never received correspondence (neither confirmation, order sent email).

  • COVID RELATED POSTAL DELAYS ARE BEING REPORTED BY SOME CLIENTS,

Must be long delays, given COVID was about 4 years ago..

  • +1

Be aware of the risks. Read this journal article on Can We Trust the Quality of Generic Drugs?. It specifically mentions Dr Reddy's, the manufacturer for the bulk deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/834351. They had FDA findings against them, recalls last year and are manufactured in plants in India with poor hygiene. The TGA is good but they can't test everything that comes in. Zyrtec (branded Cetirizine) is manufactured in Switzerland.

My opinion? I'm too much of a cheap-skate. YOLO. But it's not the same product.

  • Hi any deals for loratadine?

    • Out of interest, is there any reason you prefer Loratadine over Cetrizine or Fexo?

      • Fexo has worked better for me.

      • +1

it's all bout trial and error. I used Loratadine couple with Nasonex spray for hayfever whilst the missus varied between Cetrizine or Fexo for hive.

        • Totally agree, ClarynWine was the worst, ended up double dosing.

          Since Fexo no issues.

    • Let me see what I can come up with, I have many requests for another bulk Loratadine deal, given the huge demand I'll take a punt and make a bulk order to get Ozb friendly pricing.

  • Do you have anything for swollen feet?
