  • Does anyone have the $10 off entry code?

  • Had to look a bit to get the prices through Ticketek:

    Adult $21.50
    Concession $19.50
    Child (6-16 years) $17.50
    2 for 1 Offer Admit $21.50
GFWS $5 Discount Admit offer $18.50
    GFWS Competition Codeword Offer $23.50
GFWS Entertainment Card 2 for 1 admit $30.00
Admit Entry: Good Food $10 discount $13.50

    • expensive…

    • Nice post - thanks for your work in researching this.

So $13.50 is the cheapest… but please explain how we get that price?

  • Do they charge the usual $5+ booking fee. So you may be better off just paying at the door anyway!

    • ditto - good question.

    Some $5 codes (case insenitive): <<epiqure>>; <<goodfood>>; <<lifestyle>>; <<bargain>>; <<ec5>>.

$30 2 for 1 (Fri only): <<ec241>> (NB: unlucky if asked to show Entertainment Card at the door!!)

When purchasing ticket you can choose to include a reserved seat for one free celebrity show. Wise to do this as they mostly "sell-out" fairly quickly. This is the 'advantage' of advance purchasing rather than purchasing at the door.

Teketick's Choice-Magazine-Shonky-award-winning service/booking/rip-off fee is quoted at $4.95 but at purchase comes up at %6.20 per transaction!!

Also note that near to closing time on Sunday many stalls start lowering their prices to clear out their remaining show stocks.

    • Nice post. Would be really interested to see if anyone can come up with a $10 off code!

      <<oxford>>; <<RACQ>> = $5

Other hidden cost is est. $3.00 to buy a glass if you wish to taste the wines, beers, ciders, liquors and cocktails. Alternatively a premium Reidel glass is available for $12 which is a good price for Reidel (although the exact same glass was only $10 at GFWS in the other state capitals!!!)

I would strongly recommend planning to not drive to this event - apart from the missed opportunities, the multiple tiny serves make it impossible to keep count of the number of standard drinks consumed.
