About $40 cheaper than from Computer Alliance with the MAR15 eBay code. Pretty decent midrange(ish) B650M board, with notably 12 USB ports on a mATX form factor. There's also a 4% bundling discount for both items if you buy something else from a list, might be worth taking a look. I was going to bundle it with the 6000CL30 Corsair EXPO kit (~$470 for both), but they jacked up the price by $25 over the weekend.

Computer Alliance is $309 delivered on amazon, just look on the same page as this deal at "other sellers"

I bought this exact board a week ago from amazon Computer Alliance and it turned out to be the Rev 1.2 model for those that care which one you get, also they sent it to me express post.

    • Yeah I was comparing their eBay page and their site, kinda surprising that their Amazon storefront has it listed for cheaper than their own home page

There is a board revision lottery on this, at least the WiFi card included is different.

    • AMD Wi-Fi 6E RZ616 (MT7922A22M) (PCB rev. 1.0)
    • Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX210 (PCB rev. 1.1)
    • Realtek® Wi-Fi 6E RTL8852CE (PCB rev. 1.2/1.3)

You are likely to get 1.2 or 1.3 as pointed out by OZBer Axelstrife above. Out of those, Intel AX210 is generally the preferred one.

Yeah, Gigabyte had a weird period last year where they seems to ran out of stock on the Mediatek card and every AM5 boards started shipping with Intel wifi again. FWIW the RTL8852CE driver is a lot better than the RZ616 in my experience, I ordered an AX210 for my Legion Slim 14, but never ended up installing it since the Realtek seems fine enough.

  • any coil whine issues?

  • how's this board compared to Asrock PG Riptide? https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/Ng2WGX/asrock-b650m-pg-r…

Asrock seems to have better VRMs (12+2+2 or something)

    • +3

VRM is very overkill on AM5 board once you're past the "might as well be A620" bracket (like the Gigabyte Gaming Wifi yesterday). I don't dislike the PG Riptide, but gamer aesthetic aside its a fairly bog standard B650M board feature wise, and its worse value compared to the Pro RS (which unfortunately is out of stock in Australia, but when it was still available it was $40 less), where it trades the Pro RS's E-key slot and extra M.2 slot for a more overkill VRM and RGB lights.

Main selling point of this Gigabyte board is the 12 USB ports.

      • I don't need 12 USB ports lol, but I have had good experience with an Aorus Pro AX. So I guess I will pick this one over the Asrock

        • If you just need a basic bitch B650 board with no special features, this seems good enough:

          • @[Deactivated]: I was planning to get one with gen 5 m2 for future proofing but this looks interesting

            • @AlgoTrading: Even Gen 4 M.2 is fairly redundant right now outside of niche production use cases (i.e. video editing rig where its consistently moving hundreds of gigs)

  • Also, $350 delivered for a GIGABYTE B650 AORUS Elite AX V2 is half decent (or at least is the cheapest available delivered atm),
