Would recommend getting the gains from gan

    • what exactly are the gains though? looks like the same size, not smaller… less warm during charging?

Both are GAN chargers. This one is GAN 2 and the one you linked is GAN Prime.

      GAN 2 vs GAN Prime:

      • Thanks Cobalt, I had no idea what Q2Q was talking about. "Gains from Gan"….

        • i just wanted to alliterate

  • Got this yesterday and it's been great. Adds a lot of flexibility being the desktop charger design.

    • I don't mean to whine about it, but isn't this the one that lots of people on here have complained about, due to the coil whine (when charging at 65W)

  • I bought this and tried to charge my laptop, however it never delivers the power the laptop needs. I always get "connected to slow charger" notifications on Windows when i use this. However when i use the AliExpress travel charger that is also 65W GAN, it works quite well.

I am not sure what the issue is , not sure if anyone else has experienced this.

    • Is your cable good quality? I had the 735 Nano II for two years now with no issues. Tried to upgrade to the new 735 GaNPrime that's when I started getting the slow charger message. So returned the GaNPrime and went back to my Nano II.

    • I had the same thing with a similar charger that just was above the required Wattage. On paper it should have worked, I had a usbc-usbc cable that has worked with other chargers, made sure it was only thing plugged in.
Ended up just sending it back and buying an over-specced 100W charger that works a treat.
      That’s my advice

    • Which laptop do you have? I have an lenovo and it has the same problem. lenovo said they basically only support 100 Watt chargres to charge their 65 Watt laptop

      • I see, that is strange! I have a Lenovo yoga c930.

But a charger i got from AliExpress that does 65w was able to deliver the required power with the same cable…

        • I wonder if it's the chipset. My 100w is an off brand. So I'd like to know if the 100w Anker works, and 65W doesn't. But I don't want to buy another thing. Nor do I want the 100w size.
