This monitor is back and cheaper than before, so I thought I'd sneak in and post while Clear is asleep. Monitor comes with a full-sized HDMI port and an inbuilt stand, but no casing or leather cover.

Featuring a 16" touchscreen IPS display with 1920x1200 resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, HDR, 300cd/m² brightness, 74% NTSC / 100% sRGB colour gamut, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 3ms response time, 75mm VESA support, 178° wide viewing angle and dual speakers.

There's two USB-C ports for display/power and power input, PD passthrough charging, HDMI and a headphone jack. A HDMI to HDMI cable, USB-C to USB-C and two USB-A to USB-C cables are included.

Price is GST inclusive and AU$ is based on numbers charged by Aliexpress cuz I'm lazy.

    • The link looks to be working fine on my end?

      • Link is broken:

"Sorry, the page you requested can not be found:("

        • I have no clue why Aliexpress is being difficult with some people, but try searching for the number 1005006397610182 on Aliexpress. I believe it is the identifier for this particular monitor by this particular seller.

        • Turn your VPN off. Anything that masks your location will have issues with AliExpress due to their regional sites and pricing.

  • I didn't see the weight listed?

    • Me neither, perhaps you can try asking in the previous deal? A good number of users have confirmed their purchase further down the thread.

Almost looks like a good deal and screen… hhhhmmmm… thinking

    • I know right? Don't need another screen no more but it's just so darned tempting.

  • Any way to buy a sleeve or protector for carrying these around? I have another 16'portables monitor but the lack of a sleeve makes me nervous about putting it in my backpack

    • I'm hesitating for the same reason.

Someone mentioned buying bags for em just like you do for laptops, but there's a significant difference between protecting a much tougher clamshell compared to protecting an exposed screen. All you need is a bit of added padding for the former, but I'd like to have something a little more substantial for the latter.

Weirdly enough, Dell sells their portable 14" monitors with nothing but a soft-looking sleeve, so I guess it might not be as big an issue as we're making it out to be?

      • Wow, that soft sleeve in the video gives no more protection that a 3ply toilet paper, and for a $400+ monitor! I was looking at a laptop sleeve, but those are pretty big due to the extra protection on all sides

        • I guess we'll just have to walk around with them in our hands like we're carrying a clipboard or a stack of folders 😂

This is the case I bought for my portable laptop. It's a hardshell case.

        • Oof, that's gonna bump the cost up a fair bit.

@anonym: I use it to carry both the monitor and the laptop so i consider it dual purpose.

    • Guess just treat it like a tablet with no case?

Having said that, the portable monitor I bought a year ago came with a magnetic case… maybe look for one separately.

  • Why would you need these? What is the use case?

Just like any other secondary monitor, it's just that they are portable and very lightweight. A friend boss of me used one of these along with his laptop to have meetings from his car while he sat outside a medical centre waiting for someone. I use it to easily move around the house depending if kids are home or not. I know people who might have limited space in their desks also find them useful. I also have mini pc acting as a server at home and now i can use the screen to troubleshoot any issues when network connection is down.

    • Sometimes i may go work at the library (or sometimes i couldn't work on my desk for some reason) and this is gives me a portable option as 2 monitor setup (laptop + portable monitor).

  • Does anyone know if the kickstand lets the monitor stand in a portrait position?

    • Not really, its recessed from the edge. Pic 1 and 4 show it.
It does have vesa mount or you can use a phone/tablet stand to put howevere you want

    • Can prob 3d print you something if you like… for a price… OzB price of course! lol

      • Yes, can easily 3D print something. Ideally not having to carry another stand or holder will be better.

  • So this does not support android screen mirroring or touch from mobile phones?

Laptop/PC Touch: Only support WINDOWS SYSTEM.

Phone Touch: Only support THUNDERBOLTS TYPE C phone.

Some of model cannot support touch function like LG/ONE PLUS/ASUS/RAZER phone cannot support touch function.

Can confirm android screen mirroring works on a Samsung

      • Thank you for your answer. I am using Motorola.

        • Motorola works fine and my Uperfect touchscreen works too.

  • Can this be powered by a powerbank and with what minimum specs?

    • Yes but I'm not sure what the minimum specs are. Try asking in the previous deal - there are some users with confirmed purchases who might be able to help.

      • Thank you.

Often the USB port on the computer is enough. I recommend 5V/1A or 2A for maximum brightness. A power bank is fine.

      • Thank you
