    One great hack that I’ve been using to pack cables: toilet paper roll! The hard paper in the middle of toilet paper rolls are perfect for this.

      If you leave some of the actual TP rolled on it, it may come useful too.

      Loved this idea, saved up the rolls and took an afternoon collecting all the spare cables and labelling the tubes.

      2 years on and I feel gross every time I open that drawer and see a bunch of ratty tp rolls falling apart and mostly mixed up now into the wrong tubes haha

        use the rolls in the middle of cling wrap/baking paper etc. Saw them into small bits obviously. You can even paint and decorate them

        Of course, just winding the cables up and securing with a rubber band or a twist tie works just as well.

      Get the thicker rolls from cling wrap and foil. Doesn't smell and look like toilet after a few years if storage.
