Hisense 85" U7KAU $1495 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Harvey Norman

520

It's cheaper than the 75" and cheaper than the non mini-LED model.

I think it's an end of line as I've been watching it go out of stock in the usual places. If you've been waiting like me, time to jump, I think!

*Incorporates Dolby Atmos technology for crisp, surround sound whenever you watch

I paid $1800 with price match at JB a week or so ago and they were really fighting to do that. $1500 is insane!

  • +3

Hisense used to be good, not so much anymore.

    • +1

why is Hisense not good anymore? The TV looks great to me in store.

        • +2

Go into a store and compare the U7KAU with the A7KAU if you really think mini-LED doesn't make a difference. No it won't change things like the colour representation or anything, but the contract is a huge difference between them.

Poor picture and motion quality, the OS is awfully outdated. I've got an older hisense as a spare TV upstairs but I wouldn't buy another. There is lots of better TV's int his price bracket.

  • +1

I was tempted at such a ludicrous price, even though hisense is dogshit and I have no need for an 85" 7k TV lol.

  • +1

Anyone order I went to payment and i got thrown out and update price 😭

  • +6

I got jb to price match. Going into store now to see the quality and if its good ill buy

    • Damn. Massive effort!

Hope they don't go to check again.

    • +2

Wow. Pay with 10% off vouchers and $10 perks code 😂

    • Did you get it?

    • We are keen to know the outcome.

      • +1

He is still in the store trying to convince the manager 😂

        • 🤣 yeyeye I swear I’ll buy it, just let me test that dark scene on the last episode of GoT real quick.

      • +1

No bingo. I went to pull the trigger without looking at it and they had already adjusted the price match link

        • Shattered, doesn’t matter mate, at least you tried.

  • For the ozbargain legal team, if anyone who managed to buy and/or pay at checkout, can the vendor be legally held to a price error?

    • +2

      No

      • IANAL but you probably could get it honoured if you took a screenshot and threatened ACL. It really depends on how much time you have on your hands.

  • Well, after having a good chat with @Mortgagetightass about Hisense Mini LED's, I'm annoyed I missed out on this. To anyone reading this comment, this model is nowhere near as bad as I made it out to be so I unpublished my negative comments. Thank you and Happy Easter :)
