Commercial grade line trimmer/brushcutter. Just bought one of these through Total Tools via price matching. StoneX are an official retailer of Ego products and eligable for the free 5Ah battery promotion current running on Ego commercial gear. Purchase the brushcutter kit for ~$75 (available at Total Tools and other retailers) for line trimmer and brush cutter in one. BTX4500 going for the same price.

5Ah battery alone is $350 to $379, so you're getting Ego's most capable line trimmer skin essentially for $220 to $250.

Note, for anyone who don't already own Ego gear, this doesn't come with a charger, and the free battery is via redemption so might take a couple of weeks for you to receive it.

      I guess that's viable for this specific SKU, but that is why my post had this part to it:

      But you are correct, this is specifically saying this SKU is $50 cheaper than the RRP posted in the overall "free" 5Ah deal, and that type of thing has been done plenty before with an overall discount post, then specific ones afterwards, eBay deals come to mind.

  My redemption batteries came in 3 days. Very happy.

  Some retailers have trade in and save on Ego at the moment. Not sure on the terms and conditions. Would be good if you could price match and get $50 trade-in.

  Check to see if there is actually any stock. Before Christmas they had a similar promo but with the bigger 7.5Ah battery. The battery was by redemption and came in a week, but I cancelled the trimmer purchase recently after a 3 month wait (at a different store) with no indication of when it would turn up. No one else had stock at the time either.
