Damn, I missed both of these.
This game was the lemon of the year to me. The controls were unnecessarily absurd and the jump at the time delay was a fixed distance so I always over shot the target. Or something like that, it was ages ago that I tried. It might have been good if the difficulty wasn't artificial from crap controls. It was not worth the time to git gud.
Complete opposite experience for me. The game was hard enough and challenging so was really fun to finish. Mechanics definitely took a little to get used to, but that's the same for me with every game.
Skill issue ngl.

dunno where the "unnecessarily absurd" controls come from considering you can finish the game with just space, shift, WASDEQ and a mouse
Unusual take. I'm a pretty casual gamer these days, but I had no trouble with the controls in Ghostrunner. I personally found it fairly intuitive? I ended up smashing through it in about 5 hours.
Pretty sure has also been offered with Prime Gaming (GOG code)
The one game I missed since Epic started giving out freebies… and also the only game they've given out that I wanted to play that I didn't have. Glad it's free again but I might be one of the minority.
I just mindlessly get free games and never play them. When it said in library I was worried I have short term memory loss, thanks for clarifying it has already been free and I'm glad you got to get it

I picked this up on a steam sale last year and had a brilliant 15 hours with it. Really really fun game, even for someone who hasn't played much like it before.
looking forward to this - gameplay looks fun!
its a great game and I was really enjoying it, but the difficulty just ramps up for me all of a sudden, and I found myself just retrying the same section over and over and over again..
I sometimes wonder if I should try again, got stuck in a section and got sick of retrying and I gave up and uninstalled at the time
This has happened to me plenty before. Honestly, no joke - sleep on it and come back in a day, and replay the whole level, don’t restart at the checkpoint. You’ll be surprised how your brain can click into the right groove in the right circumstances.
Yeah, this game's great. I recommend trying again!
This certainly is just one of those games. You're gonna die a lot, but reloads are instant, so death becomes nothing but a regular button press.
