This shouldn't be in freebies, you have to spend $1000 to get it!

    • the personalised lonely planet mini travel guide is free :)

      • There are strings attached though, which puts it out of the freebie category.

I agree, cannot be counted as a "freebie" due to the requirement of first spending $1000. :(

what strings attached? have you gone to the website?

you don't need to spend anything first to receive a guide!

        • That's true, the guide is free. However the range of destinations is limited, for example I picked Korea and there were only 2 cities available. So it's only a taster.

        • they are free, you want ALL their range?

    The voucher seems worthless.

I plan to depart just before this voucher expires. At the flight I'm looking for (MEL-SIN ret) STA is $150 more expensive than the airlines themselves; a price which my local travel agent will give me.

    • STA have a price match policy. Find the best price online and get them to match it. i don't know if they'll accept a voucher on top of that.

From the T&C's: This offer cannot be combined with any other discount or offer.

Depends if the voucher is really a voucher, or viewed as a discount coupon.
