I've used tid.com.au for annual policies for the last 2 years & been happy with the price - never had to claim thankfully. So when I saw 10% off I grabbed it quick (they always have $10 off, but 10% off is much more in most cases).

Annual policy comes out to $351 for a family and the great thing this year is that includes BOTH myself & my partner, even if we're travelling separately and both of our kids as long as they're travelling with one of us.

To get the code, you have to download shoppernova app onto your iphone and to use the app properly you have to have IOS6 as it utilises the 'Passbook' app. A bit of a hassle, but having said that the shoppernova does have a fair stack of other savings on it.

Seems my code was unique, tried it a second time & failed.

    hey guys. word of advice

    they're cheap to use

    but if you ever need to make a claim, run for the hills.

    I had to make a claim for an incident in March this year while overseas. After alot of phone calls and emails and back and forth exchanges, my claim was finally settled last week (November) 8 months after my claim.

    My friend used covermore for his recent trip.
    Made a claim, it was settled in 5 days no questions asked

      I was on a trip with a mate, we both had TID. He needed to make a claim, I didn't. He was getting the run around by the claims people. but I got a post-travel customer satisfaction survey call from their marketing guys. I said I was disappointed in how they were treating my mate. The marketing guys then got up the claims guys and things got sorted fairly quickly after that.

    I used TID for a couple of years and then made the mistake of turning 60 - the premiums shot up. Now I use SCTI - much cheaper for me. Cannot comment on claims performance since I have never claimed.
