Something to do with lights. Well they were found in the electrical section.

  • Seems to be a plastic mount for a lamp, from the words Lamp sold separately.

Looks like a downlight housing.. Not sure what's special about it though? But hell - it's 5c!! Time to stock up!!

No, if you read yellow clearance tag, it says "Downlight Fixed Megaman GX53 Palmlite"

Google and you'll find this: http://www.ozlighting.com.au/Megaman-Palmlite-Surface-GX53-F…

BUT… The item from Bunnings is the Fixing only… If you look harder, it says on the box "Lamp sold separately".. You'll need to buy your own lamp..

well, when the lamps are on sale for 5c you'll be regretting not getting the fixings.
and i'll be in downlight heaven.
powerbills through the roof, but bargain downlights.

      • These downlights are generally used under shelves, they use a special compact fluorescent lamp, and I don't think you will ever see the lamps for 5c.

        • if the lamps currently cost $14.50, then theres a chance :P

Capcom must be scraping the bottom of the barrel for new Megaman titles..

you should add the store to the title, it is probably local only

  • Buy now ask questions later

i blame apple's domination of the tablet market.

Well, I was holding off when they were 17c, but now that they're 5c I think it's time to buy!

  • +3

Might hold out a little bit longer I think :)

    • hahahaha…. me too ;).

this is why i love you ozb. "i don't even know what it is, but it's cheap!"

There's no need to know what it does. A true Oz Bargainer will bring a good deal back to the hive even if the deal itself is not yet understood properly.

  • Just a small tip I've found, if you take the downlight and reverse it's direction it becomes an uplight.

  • The Thing that amuses me about it: they went to 25c, then 17c still couldn't clear them out so now at 5c… I'm wondering at what point the store will just throw them out because it has probably cost them more to re-price it the 3 times than it could possibly be worth and surely the shelf space could be better used…

    • There's probably a computer program doing the reductions. The humans are just following its directions.

      • Skynet has a sense of humour?
