HGFRTEE 14" 4K 400nits IPS Portable Monitor US$66.60 (~A$108.28) Shipped @ Factory Direct Collected Store AliExpress

AEDN69

This 14" 4k 400nits IPS portable monitor was posted at ~AU$140.11 in February. Further price drop to ~AU$108.28 at checkout using $12 off $100 code I saw on AliExpress homepage (probably posted already)

Cheapest I've seen for 4K, though it is non-touchscreen. Some will argue this resolution is overkill for 14", but I find it beneficial for productivity tasks.

CutesLiving page offers 90-day returns, 8-day delivery, and a whole dollar in compensation if it's delivered late. Doesn't appear to be any stock limit at time of posting.

Pasting specs below from past deal as I'm rushing. Credit to @ephphatha

This looks like it has a better stand than the ZSUS one

Can confirm that the HGFRTEE stand is quite good. Also due to the ports being offset, the cables not visible.

This comes to $119 for me inc tax?

  • Code doesn’t work? Says: “The coupon code is now unavailable. Try another.”

    • +1

      Try OUTDOOR8

      • Still $119

        • Shows US$74.06 for me. Don't bother saying the AUD rate because that fluctuates throughout the day. Especially if you're looking at the inflated AUD rate on AliExpress.

Actual exchange rate price is A$115.81 ;)

          • @Clear: Right, but it's still not US$66.60

            • @itsfree: Not sure why your price is showing differently. Here's screenshots of what I see. Shows $12 discount (plus discount of $2.99 for free shipping), for US$66.60 and AU$108.28 at 10:35AM AEST.

              • @TheLurker: First order? It looks like a new user discount.

                • @Clear: Nope. Active account since 2015. The code doesn't look targeted in the link which shows on the product listing page

                  • @TheLurker: Has it been a long time since your last order?

                    • @Clear: It has been, but I think the tax comment below explains the difference others are seeing. I've updated the headline

              • @TheLurker: Looks like it's because they're adding GST to my cart, but not yours.

                • @itsfree: I see the US$7.46 tax line on your checkout summary, and I don't know why there isn't a tax line on mine. What do others see?

                  • @TheLurker: You are still in the Shopping cart where the GST doesn't seem to show. If you go to the Checkout, the GST line will show up

                    • @kancha: I am guessing my early account was created before GST applied to online offshore purchases. Maybe my profile won't update until next transaction goes through. I haven't purchased this as I need a touchscreen 4K, but will comment if they clawback GST later.

@TheLurker: Doesn't work like that. GST is charged based on shipping address, not account creation date.

                      • @TheLurker: My earliest order is in 2015 so I assume I opened my account around the same year as you.

  • Price came up as $120

Finally a deal on a respected brand like HGFRTEE. I hope it's a genuine HGFRTEE, though.

    • +1

You know it's respectable when an unpronounceable brand name is cheaply screen printed in large font bold all caps letters on a monitor bezel. Fingers crossed it doesn't look like that in actual shipped product

      • +3

It does, thankfully the text is actually individual stickers for each letter. I scraped the stickers off mine and used a bit of alcohol to clean the remaining adhesive residue.

  • +1

this resolution is overkill for 14"

    • +3

      some will argue this
