Looks like a multipurpose item (see second photo).

    • Now why does that photo looks slightly erotic?

I can see the value of this, but in practice do people really wear this? Just curious

    • I think it depends how critical is for someone to look presentable all day. In my previous job it was not that important but in my new job I easily see myself going through this hassle with a smile

Shirt stays are especially popular with people in service uniforms who move about all day but need to keep presentable. Police officers, pilots, etc.

I prefer the Y-shape style that clip on to your socks, rather than the garter style. I find them more comfortable and less obtrusive. The Y-shape style have the added bonus of keeping your socks pulled up as well as keeping your shirt neatly tucked in.

I wear a pair of the following shirt stays daily and they have lasted many years:

    • Tried them when I was small and required to wear business shirts. It didn't help me much.
Looked marginally better than the inches of bunching I was trying to fix but still wrong/awkward.
Also a little annoying to put on and not super comfortable.
Obviously YMMV, hope these help OP.

    • I had a job where I was wearing a dress shirt and constantly reaching up above my head, these saved me from having to retuck my shirt a million times a day.

    Is this for builders?

I’m not sure they have found a material strong enough yet to cure builder/plumbers crack

    • Might be nice to see their faces when they see me in this… after they find my ball gag.

  • TIL this is a thing

  • Saucy.

  • Bizarre.

If any job required me to wear a gizmo like that to compensate for the clothing required being basically unsuited to the job that had to be done I'd find another employer or job.

I thought only women were crazy enough to wear stuff like this.

And does it even work? I have to wear trousers that a fairly tight around the waist or they fall down. Wouldn't that stop a shirt tucked into the waist of the pants from being pulled down by the elastic straps?

    I can't even.

  • Wondering if you can flip them upside down to make them socks stays?

Cheaper to learn how to tuck your shirt in properly
