Yeah, I got that popup too, but my wife didn't on her laptop.

I did get it for $69 + delivery. But even still at $74, its cheaper than everywhere else and I still would've bought it from TGG as they are cheapest.

  • whats a stick mixer generally use for?

I've bought it for making our own food purees for our 7 month old son. We bought a steamer and blender all in one, and it broke, its a POS. So just going to steam/boil and then blend.

Blending soup, making quick dressings/milkshakes, things like this. It's really indispensable when pureeing soup - because pouring batches of boiling soup into a food processor rarely goes well.

      ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

  • Worth noting that this one seems to have a full metal base on the bottom of the blender attachment - if you ever would use it on non-stick, it can easily wreck the non-stick coating.

Not really a deal breaker, but definitely worth noting if you know you'll use it with non-stick.

Also, personally find stick blenders that have a speed setting (rather than low/high) to be a lot more useful.

  • Is this good enough to make protein balls?
