I don't get it…I click to 'buy' it. Sign in. It says step 1, verify name. Can't proceed past there. There's no buttons to click and what not…

  unfortunately it forces you to do step 2 & 3 as well…ie. retweet + like on FB
  after you click those buttons then you can "continue".

      Try clicking on your name and hitting enter, worked for me. Didn't have to "like" or "tweet"

Just for the heck of it got code, installed software, started to rip a test DVD to Apple TV format and it seemed to be working…. was estimating 14 hours. Used handbrake (http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php) to do the same disk - and it's estimating 6 hours. I think that if you aren't in a hurry, and find handbrake a little too complex then this is probably good for you. If you're happy to spend 5 minutes learning how to use handbrake (presets are good) then you might be better off there as a) you can update it in the future and b) it may be faster and c) you can probably tweak settings more.
