  • Don't all XBox packages come with a free month of Gold?
Seems like a good deal though.

  • Cheers, that's the kids sorted for Christmas.

  • This Xbox model doesn't come with a hard drive though so that's extra. Add one of these if you want to install any big games to it or movies. So that brings up it to $396 if you want to have an actual hard drive in the console which is not worth buying this console in my opinion.

But then again you can buy a new XBOX 360 console with a 250GB HDD and 2 games (Forza Motorsport 4 Essentials Edition and Skyrim) and 1 month free xbox live gold for $288 from JB Hi-Fi. Is the console from Harvey Norman really worth it now considering that it has no hard drive in it. All it has is a crappy 4GB inbuilt storage which wouldn't be big enough to install most games to.

Only trying to save you the heartache of bringing it home only to find you can't install your games or download them because there's not enough storage capacity.

    • No Kinect though.
Kids want Kinect for some reason.

      • Well the Xbox 360 Kinect bundle with 250GB HDD and 1 month xbox live gold is $379 at Target currently. You work it out it's cheaper buying the whole Kinect and console bundle package with hard drive than it is to buy the Kinect console bundle without hard drive and buying the hard drive separately. Sooner or later you'll be adding a hard drive to the console when you discover a lot of games won't fit on 4GB of storage. Even if you do fit a game it's likely you won't be able to install another from a lack of storage space. You'll be uninstalling games all the time and shuffling discs around.
