Good price sure but every ozbargainer has been either getting these for free or for a small profit lol 😉

mate i tried the shopback $15 cashback offer, didn't even track. straight up scam

        • +1

Lodge a request to manually apply it and they will do that. I think you are one of the few people who have had an issue.

  • Not bad but nothing special.
Boost deals used to have PROFIT in it, nowadays it’s far and few in between, but at least still a number of breakeven deals ($0 cost after cashback). Aim for those.

    • Thanks for letting me know, still new to the community. Will have to look for free deals…

Make sure you join the Cashback programs (either CashRewards/Shopback/Topcashback) to fully utilise the deals, especially Boost ones as the breakeven/profit comes from the cashback, albeit you gotta wait a few months for it to get approved.

        • How much do you get back, out of curiosity?

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: This was the highest profit ever ($35 down to $12, with $35 cashback, making it $23 PROFIT).

But you’re welcome to browse the history going back a few years now, to get a feel of what it used to be, or could be again 🤞

            • @noelhoi: Wow, that's a lot! Well I have to stay here for these sorta deals!

  • Can still get them online for free with this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/844687

    • Nice, could you get cash back on this one?

Why would you contact Optus for a refund on this SIM??? Boost Mobile uses Telstra!

I've rung Boost on a Sunday with problem Porting. Got straight through. Very helpful.

[Update] original comment of don't ring Optus… because you will waste your time. Has been removed - after my comment😉

      • Got it so how do they give you the refund?

        • +1

No, sicaboy just made a mistake.

If you bought at Office Works, see them fir a refund. They might not give it on a Sim

  • $12 too expensive at a minimum

  • customer service is pretty bad.

This week I tried to activate boost SIM. And their website always say something like “an error occurred”. So I called their support line. A lady answered my phone, I told her clearly I need to port my number to boost. And she said “done”, your SIM is activated. I asked her, how? You didn’t ask what my number. Then she just hung my call.

I called boost again, a man answered my call and the solution he gave to me is that i need to go out and buy another SIM card….
