    Just remember, in NSW, if you touch your phone while driving, you're copping a $298 fine+3 demerit points! :)

      You can touch it if it's in a fixed mounting, but you can't physically hold it in your hand

    On a similar note: If anyone is after a in car recorder I have recently purchased 3 Navig(8)r CRASHCAM HD units from BigW for about $78 each I think. Record 720p to a microSD card in a loop. Mounts using a very strong sucker. Records AVi files in 2, 5 or 15 minutes sections.

    Look to be a good unit with then only thing missing being GPS (but it is only $78). Also is an Australian company (Lazer I think) so they have a AUSSIE based support phone number.

    They aren't on special although they are cheaper than other places but I didn't think it deserved it's own post.

    There are few on EBay I am looking for for sometimes. I m interested in dual camera that is good to show some of things may occurred in back of the car, for Same or similar price.
    I had a cheap one and I loved it for $20 but died (short circuit???).
