I own a pair and not had any issues with them at all, great little set of headphones.
I have a pair too and for $60 they're great. I also have a pair of Bose QC-35 and yes, the Bose sound better, but not that much better and the noise cancelling works almost as well for obvious droning/humming sounds. The Edifiers are very listenable if you're not fussy and haven't given me any problems in the ~1yr I've owned em.
I had an older gen headphones that didn't have Noise cancellation but it was well worth the money. Always connected immediately once powered on, battery was long lasting, the sound quality was good, build quality was decent and wasn't uncomfortable to wear
Unfortunately no 3.5mm jack on these which is required for older in-flight entertainment systems, if that's your use case.
