you can get indoor grow tents (with clear windows and metal frames) with larger dimensions for cheaper and then add fan filtration systems

Interesting. Thanks. I'll have a look at that. These are pretty much photography lightboxes too without the backdrop and ledlight but theyre more expensive.

    • Can you share a link please

mmm.. bought 2x "sunlu" branded enclosures for $76 total in the recent 20% off ebay sale… yes it has a plastic frame - we had to use a mallet to tap all the pieces together as it was too hard to push together by hand….. but it has been working really well! IMO its not worth $95 for 1 because its Ender brand.

  • Does anyone know if this fits an ankermake M5?

    • Get your printer's measurement and compare to this

      750X700x900mm

  • Assuming this won't reduce the noise by much? I haven't printed anything since moving into a smaller place due to the noise.

    • Idk what printer you got but maybe noise dampener pads?

    • These enclosures/tents will block some noise when zipped up (and all vent holes are closed), but yeah as mentioned buy some cheap rubber feet/pads from hardware store to place underneath the printer to help reduce any vibration based noise

  • It's not going to win any beauty pageants, but I've personally had alright results with just a cardboard box for ABS/ASA.

I'm not too worried, we're not running Anet A8's anymore, plus I don't leave it unattended.
