  • Can't find this deal online, still $697 there, is this a store only sale?

  • It's advertised in Melbourne's herald sun

  • Looks pretty decent. Anyone got one already?

  • +1

Seems like its $448 after cash back. Not too shabby.

    i5 (unknown model)
    4G ddr3
    750G HDD
    GT630M

    • Thanks, it was still showing the old price at time of posting.

    • Actually I think the specs are incorrect on the website. I dont see any mobile i5's frequency ranges from 2.9ghz to 3.1ghz. Also, I think GT630M should have 2G of ram (not 100% sure though). It still needs to be confirmed whether it is eligible for the cashback.

    • I am pretty sure the cashback is on a different model not this clearance model with Gen 2 CPU.

According to the model number Acer V3-571G-52454G75 it should have a GT640 2G. Man, these bloody large franchises can never get their product sheet right can they? They still trying to fool people with something like: XX Ghz dual core cpus / X G dedicated graphics / DDR 3 memory with no frequency / HDD with no RPM. Freaking horrible.

According to Dick Smith, the model nr is NXRZJSA005. So there is no cash back for this model. But it is a good price for i5.
      The specs: http://www.acer.com.au/ac/en/AU/content/model/NX.RZJSA.005

  • Right, looks like no cash back for any V3 with 2nd gen i5 at the moment. Well, it's still a decent price but not fantastic.

  • I5 for this price is nice! Graphics although dedicated are so so

  • Anyone got this model and can share their gaming experience on this, able to run any latest games like BF3 smooth and cool?

  • If go to store, can I get the same price?

    • yes, ofcourse
