Amazon offers the Logitech G930 7.1-Channel Surround Sound Wireless Gaming Headset, model no. 981-000257, for $69.99 USD. That's $20 under our (Dealnews) July mention (which came in a damaged box) and the lowest total price we could find now by $35. (More stores charge $120.)     This headset is pc only from what I know. This is by far the lowest price i've ever seen. I bought it for $100 from amazon and I'm loving every bit of it, well worth it's price tag.

    So is this the G35 only wireless? This is a great deal but I bought the G35 at the logitech sale and the minister for finance will not allow this purchase :<

      I've got a G930 and a mate has the G35 and in terms of sound and functionality they're identical. They have different headbands though so if you're having a lot of issues with the thing staying on your head the G930 works a fair bit better for that. If you don't mind your G35 set though, you won't really see any improvement with the 930's :)

      As a comment not meant as a reply - this is an excellent headset and well worth the price. I paid 50% more and don't regret it in the slightest. That said I haven't tried heaps of different sets, but the virtual surround, mic quality, sound quality and construction are all brilliant, so I haven't been left wanting.

    Looks like it's gone out of stock. When that happens it goes to the next seller available who usually don't send things overseas.

    Weird. 7 hours on Dealnews and doesn't sell out. Less than an hour on OzBargain and it's gone.

    Although it's not mentioned on the Officeworks website, one of the conditions we're told to check is if the competitor has an ABN. Amazon, being an American company, will not have an ABN so I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be price matched. But you can always try. Maybe you'll be served by someone who doesn't have a clue.
