  • How can you get a domestic flight for only 20k points?

    • +1

The cheapest return domestic flight is 16k points. e.g. Sydney to Melbourne return.

This is a pretty good deal if:

    1. you earn $65,000K or more (the minimum income required)
    2. You are not a QFF member already
    3. You are prepared for the price hike of the fee to $250

I think the income level is set too high - given the the next card down is $15,000

  • Why they required this???

    1. you earn $65,000K or more (the minimum income required)
  • Don't forget the first year annual fee is reduced to 50% (ie $125), so if there are no other hidden conditions, keep the card for one year and you already have your flight and your QFF membership waived.

I think they req $65K or more cos the minimum credit limit is $8000

  • I'm just saying the income level is a about $10-$5K to much

otherwise it could be a useful deal - but the Gold card isn't same fee, less features.

  • meh, I don't like american express cards, there are to many extra fees imposed by the retails.

  • Is there a website or service that compares the current availability of credit cards and frequent flyer points, etc?

had a look at forums, but any more detailed info?

  • one of my friends told me about this one. Great deals, but the yearly fee is quite high.

i think they are running an offer atm for 1million free points too - wish i won that :D

  • I just thought I would report back that it is possible to get a Plantinum card even if you are below the 65K.

It depends if you qualify for the minimum credit limit
