Key Features
Why would you want 12GB of RAM in a laptop that only has a Core i3?
Just a guess, but photo editing maybe? It helps to have a decent CPU for that, but RAM is more important.
Certainly it'd be nice to have more than 4GB for general use though…
they have VT and make a fair fist of VMs
but yeah… i've loaded a shot in PS and it can spike the memory to 8-9-10Gb easy
if your laptop is not using 64bit windows and only using 32bit then no point having 10GB or even 16GB because the max limit would still be 4GB….
Also if you do use 64bit windows and u have (lets say) 12GB ram in ur laptop, the net total of ram running would be approx 8-9GB as it would be running in the background using that amount of memory…
Hope this gives a better understanding to half the ppl out there…
JB's laptops always skimp out on the batteries. They sell cheap laptops because it has shitty batteries. I'd double before you buy any laptop from JB.
JB doesn't control the battery that the manufacturer includes in the box…
