This is the cheapest price compared to grey market, better built than 55-200, has metal mount, and rubber sealed as well
It will be a great pair with the stock 18-55 vr

    My 720mm non-interchangeable super-zoom gets in closer, but nowhere near the quality of this bad boy.

    ddp is grey market. Not to mention they never actually have any stock.

    I would shop elsewhere unless you can claim gst back.

    I was given a Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 DL Macro lens by someone a while back. Not super happy with it, apart from having the occasional fun with it as a macro lens. I assume that this Nikon lens would be a step up in quality as a long zoom?

      yes. it has built in AF motor + VR version 2
