  • Has more then 10k people signed up already Because I signed up on Friday the 25th and it's the 28th now n still no email is there a certain amount to put into my bank account because I put $2 n I didn't get an email with code yet n I'm new to ING

      I suspect that because there's a manual step involved there could be a delay depending on how busy they are. For example, the INGMENU200 promo code entered on ING's application form triggers a task to a queue for manual approval/verification of application to make sure it's a new customer. After approval, that person then generates and emails the Menulog credit code to the new customer.

    They said on the phone I should have got it by now and they are looking g into it so if any of you haven't received it in 4 days I suggest giving them a call they will let me know the results of why I haven't received it in up to 4 days or so

    applied, never recieved code while my friends all got their codes (i was the only one who previously had orange everyday acc). same email, same mobile, different home address
    called them up and they gave me the menulog code for $200

  • Signed up a week ago deposited money and activated the account but still hadn’t received a code. Contacted them via their online message service today and they told me to contact Menulog about it…that doesn’t seem right?

    • Yeah that's not right, the email comes from ING. Might need to speak to a different rep.

    Offer still seems to be on. I signed up on 8pm 15 Nov and got my code 10am 20 nov

    Interesting. A friend signed up to this the same day I did - the next day I also got my mum to sign up (both of us genuinely were looking for long term savings accounts, so the timing was great)

    Friend got their voucher within a few days - I've seen nothing come through for myself or Mum (which is annoying, because convincing my mother to do anything new is a lot of work haha)

    Neither are previous ING customers, and activated with accounts with a deposit.

    tried signing up, but says "Sorry, we should be up again shortly. Need help now?…" anyone run into this problem?, I'm assuming its reached the 10,000 capacity

      • Don't think due to it reached 10K. I sign-up for my partner last week and got same error. Son sign-up few days after and all OK, code received 2 days later.

    • Were you getting that error on your mobile browser? What about trying to sign up through desktop browser?

    Today is the last day to activate your account and I'm still waiting for them to verify my documents and details, I'm going to be really disappointed if I miss out just because my documents haven't been verified quick enough, my sibling signed up a couple weeks ago and it took less then 3 days for them to verify her documents.

            @spv004: Yeah I just got a response saying that because my account was opened on the 25th I'm not eligible so I've just replied back letting them know that I applied on the 20th and that it's not my fault as I was waiting for them to verify my documents and that I'm confused on how because of there slowness at confirming my identity I miss out on the voucher, we will see what they say…

              • @spv004: Just let them know what code you used and the fact that you meet all eligible requirements but still haven't received the code which you think is weird as other people who also applied seem to get their voucher within 24-48 hours.

  • I helped my partner register for a new ING account on Saturday morning. We followed up with ING yesterday about not receiving a Menulog code, and ING just replied that:
    "I can see that you have set up your orange everyday account but no promotional code has been registered with your account opening. Unfortunately as this promotion has now finished we are unable to provide any further codes."

    This is definitely incorrect because I remembered we copied and pasted the INGMENU200 code from Menulog's site into ING's registration form. And double checking it was there before we submitted it. I suspect it's more likely the entered code has disappeared off the registration form because the promo has finished.

    Anyone experiencing a similar issue like this with ING?

      I have messaged them twice about not receiving the code and was told both times that if I met the eligibility that I should receive a code within 10 business days. It hasn't been 10 business days but I know most people receive them within 24 - 48 hours I've messaged them yet again to find out more we will see what they say I guess…

        Just an update on our situation. We followed up today via ING chat and was emailed the Menulog code. Took a few days and few messages back and forth, but finally got there.

  • I had an existing ING customer account with no bank accounts attached. I logged in with my CRN and then opened the account with the promo code – just got the Menulog voucher today. 🤑

    Okay just got a response after days of back and forth apparently even though i couldn't access my account until they confirmed my identity and they had 4 full days to do so, it's my fault that I didn't open and activate the account by the 24/11/24.
    How they came to this conclusion I have no idea! I was told they've lodged a complaint for me and we will see what happens there but for now I have missed out on this code because of their laziness.
