    Is there a list that this code works on? I just tried it on the Shield box set and it came back that it cannot be applied to purchase.

      Seems to be a waste of money just for some DVDs, theatrical versions and a two 3D copies when the Harry Potter 8 film blu-ray box set is only $31.60 delivered. But if you want to waste all that money go right ahead.

        Haha if it was only "just for some DVDs, theatrical versions and a two 3D copies" then of course it would be a waste of money. But if you want to compare the different editions, you need to actually… compare them. The Wizard's Collection contains all the the movies (extended versions of the first two) and all the bonus content ever released plus bonus content that hasn't been released before. It also comes with a map, blueprints, art prints, sketches, books and a replica of the locket Horcrux. Not to mention it's all packaged in that super cool case. I'm not even a massive Harry Potter fan but the set looks awesome.

        Like just about every collector's box set, this item is obviously not made for a person who just wants the films and nothing else.

          But there is value to those who appreciate it, really unnecessary.

          Exactly, rekabkram. To me, 3/4 of this set posted by hollykryten is useless junk: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/84168 (i.e. movies 2-4) but nothing is gained from not accepting the fact that other may enjoy them.

          I hope you also only buy your movies via digital means, hollykryten - you wouldn't want to have all of that useless, non-functional packaging and artwork lying around.

        The Plan really sucks, they built it up to be this whole 'thing' that will give answers and explain things - but I really think they just wanted some more cash quick from the series.

    I checked Buffy 7 seasons on amazon.co.uk 2 days ago, and it was £35.
    Now it is £49, with 25% discount, the price goes back to £35…
    It seems they are discounting after raising the prices.

      I think I'll wait for the Fringe 1-5 box set, considering that the 5th season is the last. It always triggers my OCD when series don't match from season to season on my shelf.

      I've been wanting to get Sharpe Classic Collection for awhile, but it has been quite a bit cheaper than today's price, even with the 25% off code. The normal price hovers around £38. So they have definitely put the price up to compensate for the coupon code.

      I think we may see cheaper prices on some of these box sets in the post-Christmas sales. It's always worth checking out blu-ray.com to see the price history.

      Yes, price on Battlestar has jumped from yesterdays price of £44.99 up to £64.75, each before the 25% discount. Big Bang Theory price remains the same.
