I've churned to these guys twice, ported from Boost using eSim and both times the ported sim telephone number doesn't come through in the phone. I'll call someone and it says the correct ported number but iMessage and whatnot will not recognise the ported number (only the eSim telephone number) — I've rung them multiple times and they reckon to switch it on and off a few times, never works and I end up churning back to Boost anyway.

Is there any specific set up consideration when using eSim's ?

Honestly curious who is using this much data every month. Maybe I'm just unintentionally very data frugal but I have 170 GB per year and don't think I have ever used even half of it.

I feel like I do everything I want to (YouTube, Spotify, podcasts, download audiobooks on audible, stream live sports, some streaming apps) but I can't imagine using 40GB per month let alone 100GB. Obviously with streaming in high definition and downloading things I used way more on NBN.

Genuinely curious what people are doing to use up these data limits on a phone.

    • Same here. Looking for a new plan right now and almost all of them are overkill

    • Same goes for me, I’ve only used 92gb of 260 for my 12 month boost sim with 15 days left to run. Maybe I just need to leave the house more lol

    • Perhaps for those who works outdoors without wifi and in different location everyday?
1.33GB/day isn't much. Google Maps consume quite a lot if you travel around.
When I travel overseas, I can easily finish 10GB in less than 7 days, even after I've pre-download offline map.

    • When I used to take public transport to work/study, I used a lot of data. However, I use about 50-70 GB a year because now I drive everywhere.
