  • Would have bought without a blink if it were an ultrabook.

    Having said that, good price for an i7 and Sony too..

  • 14' & 1600x900 is the sweet spot for a Sony Vaio. (+ 640M LE)

    • Can be had for about $820 elsewhere - not that I want to torpedo my own post!

      Also, can get an I7 from HP, ASUS etc for about the same price.

  • I have an e series vaio from last year, and the fan on it constantly runs and it sounds like two vacuum cleaners mating.

  • Is it possible to add / change the HD to a SSD on the E Series Vaio?
