The full price was $120 before this sale. Site saying $150 down to $105, still a sale but that price jack is bs.

    • +10

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they hardly ever sell at so called full price and their regular price is "20% off". Pretty dodgy.

    • +2

$150 is the rrp. It's always been $150. If it was $120 then it was on sale.

    • +5

They don’t learn anything from Emma’s case

  • +9

Terrible company and terrible quality. Do not recommend. Just take a look at Product Review.

    • +17

Sigh. As with most of those reviews, they are always biased.

If you're scorned by a product, you want to make your voice heard and will leave poor feedback everywhere.

If you enjoy the product, you just go on living your life.

I've had my Ecosa mattress for about 18 months and it is extremely comfortable, doesn't sag and was very easy to set up. I couldn't recommend them enough.

      • +1

I have Ecosa and Koala, they’re both great. My sleep quality improved a lot

        • +30

So why are you still gloomy?

      • +4

Sigh. As with most of those reviews, they are always biased.

If you're scorned by a product, you want to make your voice heard and will leave poor feedback everywhere.

That's true of all brands; it's a common denominator. The ranking is invariant to bias.

      Terrible company and terrible quality.

I have an Ecosa mattress, best mattress I've ever had. And I've stayed in LOTS of expensive hotels.

Just take a look at Product Review.

Lol. I think I'll take my own experience over anonymous interviews thanks. And I question the credibility of anyone who think internet review sites are anything other than junk.

    • +1

Love my ecosa pillow, so you're entitled to your opinion, but doesn't mean it's totally correct

      • What pillow case do you use?

  • +13

Their products are perpetually on some kind of sale/promotion. Dodgy marketing tactic.

  • +13

I have a king size bed from them and its the best mattress ive ever slept on even after 6 years its perfect, bought a pillow from them recently and again best pillow ive ever owned! Cant recommend them more highly, I have this one: https://www.ecosa.com.au/ecosa-mattress-king

    • +3

Don't know why somebody negged your comment. I have a queen mattress from them and it has been great.

    • Same experience here. The memory foam is great if you like a solid mattress that won't bounce around when you partner moves. My last mattress was a name brand inner spring that costs 3x the price and the Ecosa is much better.

  • +2

Anyone tried both the standard and cooling pillow? Is the extra cost for the cooling pillow worth it?

  • +2

Have the pillow and I love it, except that the travel idea behind it is a bit odd. It comes with a travel bag that is basically a vacuum bag. Reduces the size and makes it easy to transport. The issue is that if you're taking it travelling, you also need a vacuum to reduce its size, which is unlike to happen if you're in a hotel. Just something to keep in mind.

    • +9

I have these pillows, and you remove the cap, put the pillow in the bag, roll it up (I use my knee to squash the air out) and then put the cap on.

  • +1

I have the bamboo bed sheets and it's lit tbh.

    • How have they held up with age? I had some ettitude bamboo sheets and they pilled and wore quickly.

      • I only just started using it a month ago so I can't comment on that just yet sorry :(

      • +4

Bamboo and tencel need to be cold washed and low spin. You can't chuck it in the dryer either. They are quite delicate.

      • -1

I had the bamboo sheet set and it was trash after 5 months

  • +4

I recently had a not-so-great experience with Ecosa.

Ordered a bunch of things from them, including a king sized bed. The bed came in two packages. Turns out, one box is missing a beam leg, interestingly, on the box itself it specifies there are two beams, but only one beam leg. smh Then, the second box (for the bedhead) is missing all the screws.

In the end it took multiple chat sessions and emails and over three weeks for them to have the missing parts shipped from China.

When things don't go well, it's frustrating that there is no number you can call - they only have online chats and email support.

    YMMV.

Has anyone ever tried their cooling weighted blanket? Summer is coming and I wanna stave off the heat

    • +1

Following. Have been keeping an eye on it, but was waiting for a sale and someone to tell me whether it's good or not.

      • +1

I ordered before this sale came on. Waiting on it to be shipped.

With all the heat coming, I'll try anything.

I was willing to invest in an Eight-Sleep unit, but the reports of leaks from the older units before (Unit 4) turned me off.

    • Is it this one?
      https://www.ecosa.com.au/bamboo-weighted-blanket?weight=7kg

How can a blanket stave off heat mate? Some new tech or terminology?

      • +1

It's old tech. Lyocell aka Tencel is fabric made from bamboo fibres. The fabric is just as breathable as cotton, but wicks moisture better so you won't feel humid under the sheets

Does Ecosa have a store front?

Tried ecosa before and ended up returning it under the 100 night trial. Prefer Emma and Onebed

    • +1

      Onebed is great

  • +2

Recommend Quokka Beds. Great Australian made timber frames. Family owned business. Reasonable prices. Also 25% off at the moment.

  • I've had a king mattress from them for over 3 years now and absolutely love it. Thinking about getting a queen for another bedroom…

  • Thanks op. I have ordered king size mattress ecosa essence..fingers crossed 🤞

  • +1

$105 for a pillow is not much of a bargain is it

    • +2

I have spent hundreds on pillows over the years and was never happy with any of them for long, so happy with my Ecosa pillow and if your like me and prefer a thin pillow I was able to make 2 pillows as they come in layers to adjust the height and can be taken apart!

  • +1

    which mattress is recommended?

    • Mine

    • +1

Depends what you like. I've only ever had one of theirs, this one: https://www.ecosa.com.au/ecosa-mattress-queen and I rate it as the best mattress I've ever had. It's solid and firm which I like and it doesn't move when you partner shuffles around. I put an Ikea mattress topper on it and it's now perfect. But different people like different things, so YMMV.

  • +1

30% off for a mattress is almost a rip off in ozb standard considering how much Mark up there is

    • Yep. 70% off or no deal lol.

  • -1

    Never heard of this company

  • +2

I got recommended this mattress 4.5 years ago and thought to myself, what nonsense using a non spring mattress, bought it anyway as was one of the cheapest king sized mattress and was proven wrong, best mattress my husband and I have ever had, we no longer even wake each other up when turning as the mattress barely moves, pillow so so, husband hates it, I find it ok

  • -1

They Put the price up and offer 30%. old game try hard next time.

  • +1

theyll extend to black friday, they want a jump on others

  • Like others, any recommendations on cooling blankets would be appreciated.

    • +2

I have the Tunatutu (looks like they don’t make that one anymore) and the Rest cooling blankets. The Rest is very effective at keeping me cool during the night when combined with a fan or air conditioner. It’s like a huge heat sink that sucks the heat off my body. But without a fan or AC it can’t get rid of the heat and doesn’t work effectively.

I bought the Rest for two of my friends for Christmas last year and they said it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to their sleep. Just don’t forget to pair it with something that moves air (a fan or AC aimed at the blanket, can be low speed).

Anyone had issues with returning a mattress? From what is advertised, it's risk free given you are in a metro area with free delivery so returning shouldn't cost you anything

  • +1

Has anyone tried to return a mattress to them? Was the process as seamless and painless as it’s advertised?

  • +5

People asking abut returning a mattress. I bought a sofa bed and returned it and it was as easy as the website suggests.

  • For pillows Ill never go away from Spinaleze again. Fixed all of my beck and shoulder issues as a side sleeper!!

  • +3

This is not a deal. Ecosa always have 24/7 "sitewide sale" and the prices here are their regular RRP.

  • +2

Ecosa is pretty good, but be aware that their mattresses are extremely hard, even with the softening topper. We went from an older memory foam (which was great) to their mattress, and even after adding the topper we've found it to be a bit too hard for us to really sleep comfortably (we also took too long to decide it was a problem for us, which is, well, on us and not on Ecosa). We'll probably switch to something like an Emma soon.

I would have loved this mattress when I was younger. with a creakier body, it's not so much fun.

Pillows are good, but have a limited lifespan before the foam gives.

    • +2

That was my experience as well, I didn't return the pillow as I quite like my Ecosa pillow however the mattress was really too hard to be comfortable.

    • I got one mattress in 2020 which was the perfect softness with no topper. I ordered another of the exact same type for a new house in 2023 and it was noticeably firmer. I ended up getting a topper which got it to the same softness as my original so I definitely feel like they changed materials or made it firmer sometime in the last few years

  • Ecosa Essence King $560

At that price I'd consider it instead of a Zzz Atelier… But then it immediately entices you to pay another $385 for the Ecosa Standard, totalling $945, for:

    • Waterproof & Dust Mite Free
    • Cooling Comfort
    • Adjustable Firmness

So, unless you pay nearly $1000, you're left with a mite-infested hotbed??

    • Looking at it i reckon the essence would be a better anyway being its pocket spring vs memory foam which tends to sag quicker

  • Dealt with the CEO business wise, absolute nightmare to deal with, wouldn't buy on principal.

  • I am very happy with my ecosa pure mattress. Does not get hot and softer than their cheaper foam mattresses.

    • How long have you had it for?

      • Only three months. I use to get hot at night and live in Qld. Only negatives so far are the weight 60 plus kg for king and it is expensive. I recommend having the medium side up so the micro coils are closer to the top of the bed, it is cooler. I also like the removable cover so it can be washed to avoid need for mattress protectors which can add to heat. They have a new cooling mattress which may be better but I am happy with this one.

  • Same waiting for anyone to comment on the effectiveness of the cooling products

  • Anyone here recommend their sofa beds ?

    • I bought one a couple of months ago and I like it, but the bit at the feet isn’t very structured

  • i have their black bamboo set and quilt. i love it on how soft it feels on the skin.
can anyone vouch for recent sets?

  • there's dozens of mattress in a box retailers with similar products..how do they compare to ausbeds?

  • up to 35% off currently

    • DONT! I bought a king size bed and its 10cm to short….. getting a refund is very problematic, lots of promises but no refund.
