They must operate on an extremely tight margin. The "cost price clearance" sale features a lot of stuff at 4% of RRP.

who trusts RRP anyway? many prices seem reasonable and well below average price - free shipping puts them ahead of Peters of Kensington/Kitchenware Direct for many items
