      Perhaps I should have said "it's up to 13.3% discount when you manage to get to an exact multiple of $75".

      Perhaps that's a little more accurate… :-)

    Looks like Target has 5% off iPads (this weekend) if you can't negotiate somthing better somewhere else.

      Thanks mate. The only catch is I have a $500 myer gift card for no use except for iPad. Wish myer can price match that target price.

        My understanding is that gift cards are like cash in terms of a payment method - only locked to a single store. You only need to declare that you're paying for something with them when you come to pay.

        The Myer Competetive Pricing Policy says:

        "We will match a recognised competitor’s offer if the merchandise is identical or the merchandise offer is identical and is not below our cost price, the competitor has the exact merchandise in stock, it is available for sale and the requested price can be verified.

        The Myer Competitive Pricing Policy does not apply to online retailers, clearance and warehouse outlets, liquidation and closing down sales, ex-demonstration or refurbished products. Discounts and other promotional offers cannot be used in conjunction with a competitive pricing offer."

        Bottom line: I recon that you could get a price match with the target offer and use up your gift card.

        Do I get the 5% finders fee?

        Coming back from Myer with an IPad 4 in my hands. However they cannot match the Target price. Instead, the offered me at their cost price which is $497. Considering I got the gift card cheaper elsewhere, I am happy now.

  I went to Parra and the dvd/bluray selection was poor. all the prices are cheaper at JB by half the price.
  Not worth it.

  Bait and switch! They were advertising Dyson DC34 for $269 ($30 off RRP) and $45 discount is taken from RRP which brings it down to $254 and is still more expensive then GG or Harvey Norman

    Myer will price match GG or HN most of the time. It would be good for those who bought the Myer gift card about 10% discounted.

    You have to try more than one Myer store.
    I called 5 Myer stores before I found one that was willing to price match a HN sale price on a TV.
    I had Myer gift vouchers I needed to use before they expired and I got bonus points by using Myer Visa card and Myer One card.
