Custom Black T-Shirt, All Sizes - A$12 Delivered @ Sticker Mule

630

Before you sook about his email, remember you can pay a good twelve bucks to ship a shirt interstate let alone internationally, and know that odds are you're either costing them money, or at best making them like two pennies.

You could also make a shirt that protests his opinion. I won't, but that's only because I made a shirt that says (a friend's name) sucks doodles and I thought that was more relevant to my life than some geezer in the US's opinion about US politics.

  • Was just about to post this deal. Did you pay in AUD?

    • AUD seems to be cheaper (used to be CAD!).
Also, comes out to $11.30 AUD for me

      • AUD$11.30 likewise for my order once I changed region.

  • Any idea what shirts they use?

    • +5

Just checked my last one for you, they had their own stickermule screenprint instead of a tag in the back so I couldn't see what blank they are using. 100% cotton but the quality definitely feels like you're getting what you pay for (not much.)

      • Damn, thanks for the insight! Might give it a miss this time then

      • +5

The black shirt I got from the last deal is still going well - it's a pretty thin material (you can see light through it if you hold it up), but other than that not too shabby

      • Strange question, can you see your nipples through the shirt? If yes, I'd consider the material a bit too thin for my taste. I prefer my t-shirt a little bit thicker, but not 90s heavyweight.

        • +1

As someone else mentioned it is pretty thin so I wouldn't bank on it's nip concealing properties. I wouldn't buy it to add to a tshirt rotation but rather something as a gag gift or surprise for a friend/family member.

  • The white one i got on the last deal had a rectangular yellow stain after a few washes from the iron on print thing. Unwearable now. Black might be ok though?

Got one of the "new improved" ones and it still sucked. Also this isn't an email grandpa.

  • +1

got one last deal and the region where the sticker was placed has faded into a beige colour (never been worm/ washed)

  • +3

i did this a few years back and yes, the fabric is thin. Would be ok after a few washes, I just remember the graphics didn't hold up too well either.

Someone remind me what is the political thing that was mentioned by OP?

    • +1

Owner supports Trump, but then again over half the voting public in the USA do too. People forget that over half the voting Australian public also voted for Abbott and Scumo

      • Key word being voting public in America, which doesnt apply to Australia. Some crazy amount of people sat out of the US elections.

        • Yep
… more than 50% of voting public in USA voted for Trump (and past presidents)
… more 50% of mandatory voting public in Aus voted for the current (and past) PMs

    • +1

They sell extremely thin shirts with printing that disintegrates and that's a political statement I guess?

      • Politics is a fast moving game I suppose….

  • +2

    Whats this email then?

  • Where to get some inspiration for prints

  • +4

For people who had no idea what the description was going on about.

    Did some googling: https://slate.com/business/2024/07/sticker-mule-ceos-pro-tru…

    • +1

Expected level of hyperbole & cope from Slate.

  • Know of any other decent quality custom print places for tops? Shirts jumpers hoodies etc?

    • not for $11 AUD a pop, no

      • Oh I'm aware of that, just wanting people recommendations.

    • +2

Blueteez.com occasionally do a $17 tee, 10x better than sticker mule (currently $21.6)

    • +1

Yep, we buy it from Taobao. I have a friend who buys it for a Taiwanese fast food chain that she does the marketing for and she said she's never had to replace the shirts or aprons thus far. My team love our shirts as well and they're very good quality. I still get comments from my team about how well it's holding up - and yes they know it's from Taobao.

  • Would recommend for the print quality

  • +1

I got a custom shirt made recently as a gift and it cost me nearly $40 shipped. Great quality shirt and print.

This US mob is doing it for $12 SHIPPED (no tracking though).

I reckon as long as you understand the basic premise of 'you get what you pay for', and that this shirt is going to be almost see-thru thin, not durable, and prints may not last long at all…. then $12 should be a good deal indeed.

    Just don't expect miracles.
Online reviews for their sticker products seem to be good. For their t-shirts its less favourable.

    • +1

At the time of the email from their CEo, the promotion was $5 per tshirt, shipped!

  • Artscow was the 'disrupter' back in the day. I assume they are no longer worth the effort/cost?

    • Still have my mouse pad with a copypasta/meme someone posted a image for…..

  • +2

    Oh yeah the Trump bloke.
I might get him to print me one with my political views on it-

"The Liberal Party are corrupt scum who regularly defend paedophiles"

Can anyone do the design for me?

  • Why does 3 shirts come up as AUD $55.30?

    • +1

Only 1 shirt per account at that price. So the additional shirt(s) are going through at full price

  • Referral says $13.70 for Referred. So does this then become free?

    • Minimum spend will be needed to use the referral credit

  • Well I ordered one, let's see how it goes

  • -4

Thank you for telling me about the email, I'm about to go thank him. :)

  • +1

For the artwork, if we don't have our own design can we just grab something from the internet? For example, I could just get a picture of one of my favourite music albums, but not sure if this is allowed. Or maybe just print the name of my favourite band in a font I like?

Just found this on their site, looks like lots of ways to make your own design: https://www.stickermule.com/au/studio/design

    • +3

Yeah you can do that. They don't care much about copyright

  • Customer service is pretty good so far. The deal itself has cost me a whole day so far to source photoshop, design the tshirt and going back and forth with the support with the design.

Anyone used their transfer prints? Or should I get them from vistaprints or somewhere local?

  • +1

    is the deal over?

    • Yes, looks like it. Can't find the t-shirt deal anymore and now they have a deal on stickers.
