I was walking around Carindale Westfield today looking for some scissors to cut up wrapping paper for presents and happened to walk into the Riot store.
They had 240mm/9.5" dressmaking scissors for $1.99. I initially thought it was a pricing error but the lady says it was an old promotion but the management didn't update the prices to the original price of around $8.
These scissors are probably better than what you get at the reject shop and have a pretty smooth action so hopefully good for gliding through wrapping paper.
I'm not sure if its a nation-wide thing
