    Nice.

I get the impression Lenovo monitors are underrated.

Mine were much cheaper than their Dell counterparts, no issues after ~10 years

they are business monitors for people doing business things

the only downside i can see above is no displayport

Who cares about DP when you can use VGA!

        • +2

The Mesozoic era called, they want their VGA cable back.

It’s great for the money and looks clean.

With all the crazy inflation, monitors are the exception

  • How does this compare to MSI PRO MP2412 23.8" ($79)? Got one last week for office work, pretty good for the price. Looking to get another one as a second monitor to use at home but this looks better, I like the white colour compared to the MSI.

      That's VA, this is IPS

then you have MicroLED and then OLED &/or VR ~ the best is always a moving target

        • +1

CLN asked what’s better and the answer is probably this because it has an IPS display.
Of course there are much better tech but we’re comparing at the $100 price point

  • Thanks OP!

Shame that it doesn’t have DisplayPort, I probably would have picked one up.

      An adapter is 10 bucks.

  • Think the 27" is worth $40 extra?

    • +2

It's also a bargain, looking at one now on my desk

It's personal preference, but I'd step up to QHD at 27".

I had a FHD 27" monitor at work, and I found the large pixel size was distracting and everything was oversized (but some people don't mind!).

At 24", FHD content is perfectly visible and well-sized for me. It's a sweet-spot. At 27" I found I really had no more usable screen real-estate, because resolution became the limiting factor. Everything was just larger.

  • Any thoughts on this as an alternate with Flicker Free and Free sync for same price on the 27"?

depends on its usage and how its used but, for a M4 iMac it has better speakers built in but for office work its fine for a PC unless your a casual gamer then you might be ok but id spend a little more if you predominately game on a 120hz IPS or better (144/1440) screen as a so so monitor is never the answe! Im thinking of getting one just for a rasberyPi4 I have and for that these $70-100 monitors are perfect for console emulation and linux!

      • My use case would be:
Office work (spreadsheets and word docs) 70%
        Movies/tv series 25%
        Gaming 5%

    Bugger - Brightness 250 cd/㎡ (typical)

Can’t really expect too much at this price point

I paid $118 (via price beat) for Samsung S36GD 27" curved from the Good Guys. Not a good monitor but enough for office.

  • Query from a tech amateur - is it easy to connect to an M3 iMac as a second/extension screen?

    • +2

Get an HDMI to USB-C cable from Amazon for $20 and you'll be set :)

  • Thanks Op, got the 27" version.

  • What is the difference in this two ? https://amzn.asia/d/8TgHeIi

    • That one is VA, this one is IPS

  • Got two of these! Works well. $89 each after perks discounts at JB

  • Just saw this, great timing as I needed a monitor. Perfect for my needs.
