Detect Hard Drive Issues Before Catastrophe Strikes

Hard Disk Sentinel is a hard disk monitoring software with highest possible support of HDD/SSD/SSHD (hybrid) drives. Its goal is to find, test, diagnose and repair hard disk drive problems, report and display SSD and HDD health, performance degradations and failures. Hard Disk Sentinel gives complete textual description, tips and displays/reports the most comprehensive information about the hard disks and solid state disks inside the computer or in external enclosures (USB / e-SATA). Many different alerts and report options are available to ensure maximum safety of your valuable data.

The software monitors hard disk drive / HDD status, including health, temperature and all S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology, built in most hard disks, solid state disks and hybrid drives (SSHD) today) values for each disks. Also it measures the disk transfer speed in real time which can be used as a benchmark or to detect possible hard disk failures, performance degradations.

Hard Disk Sentinel is the perfect data protection solution: it can be effectively used to prevent HDD failure and SSD / HDD data loss because it has the most sensitive hard disk health rating system which is extremely sensitive to hard disk problems. This way even a small HDD problem can’t be missed.

Did you check the previous deal comments? How does it look suss?

    • +2

not sus been many of these on ozbarg and all get good reviews the software is great and my 'go-to' for checking hdd/ssd health.

      • software is fine, but where you download it from is a different story, don't trust anyone these days :/

      • my 'go-to' for checking hdd/ssd health.

        Why?

"The download is an exclusive SharewareOnSale installer with registration built-in" hmm

  • Looking for a (preferably free) software to recover deleted files or to recover files from formatted drives. Anyone on the know? Thanks.

    • Recuva is the only one which comes to mind.

    • ReclaiMe was the only one that actually recovered lost data.

Or just use the free, open source and trusted CrystalDiskInfo with less bloat.

Just because software is free, doesn’t mean you should install it.

    • Why would someone feel the need to neg/downvote common sense advice like this?

      • Same as the person below getting voted down for pointing out any decent NAS will have SMART details built in.

        • It's interesting that they never respond to the question 'why?'
They obviously know they are clearly demonstrating their inability to make a useful contribution to a conversation but still feel the need to try to inflict some sort of 'damage' to a total stranger.
Some sort of pointscoring that only happens inside their own head?

          • @Grunntt: When it doesn't make sense, I assume the single downvote is a fat fingered mistake…

            …or an archnemesis.

            • @ChiefAJ:

When it doesn't make sense, I assume the single downvote is a fat fingered mistake…

If that's the case, I have yet to see anyone admit to it when asked the reason for the downvote.
I believe it's someone who gets some sort of feeling of power to anonymously annoy a stranger or quite possibly ….

              …or an archnemesis.

I've acquired a couple of those too - they run out of trolling points to make so amuse themselves by downvoting every comment I made for a while.

Because one man's bloat is another man's vital feature!

Excellent software. I had the trial version and it flagged a faulty HDD and I managed to get everything off it before it died.

This is a must for folks with servers / NAS.

    • +3

      NAS.. on windows? Oh dear.

NAS software will have SMART monitoring baked in too
