Babylove Ezy Combo car seat/booster seat for 6 months - 8 years of age.

$189.99 at Baby Kingdom in Sydney.

Scores higher on CREP crash testing than Safe N Sound Maxi Rider AHR posted recently and is significantly cheaper. In fact highest rating forward facing car seat/booster seat combo.

Mothercare has their January car seat challenge. They will price match and give gift card of the difference in price.

Their price is $249 so gift card is for $59. Can also accrue loyalty dollars on their membership card $5 per $100 spent to be spent in future.

Unfortunately they have tightened up rules and gift card now is only valid for 1 month and for FULL PRICE Mothercare and ELC products. No free car seat fitting on price matched products. Free fitting I think only on car seats above $300.

Last year was much better, they gave me a gift card valid for whole year on any product and I got loyalty credit and free professional fitting.

    Great deal!
    I bought the Ezy Combo for $190 last year for the 2nd car and my son looks much more comfortable in it than the Safe N Sound Platinum at $550 (with same 4 star safety rating). Might get another one for the grandparents car.

      Yes they pricematched instore. I don't know if they can do it online.

    They will price match but it has to apparently be within 20km and in stock. Unfortunately seems no one will answer at Bananababy until the new year. If you can find cheaper, then great, more on the gift card.

      I do acknowledge Baby Kingdom whose price in itself is very good.

    Has anyone had luck with this, the fine print seems to make this very difficult & only applicable to a few bargainers.
    Not only are you limited to within 20km & in stock (as mentioned by constipated), but then they say this:

    advertised in a daily newspaper, catalogue, commercial radio or television advertisement

    So a competitors in-store price or on their website probably won't be considered :(
    -> Someone could argue that online prices is a catalogue, but I don't hold much hope.
    Doesn't look like you can even shop around locally to find the best price, as it needs to be in their catalogue.

      Yes as I said in my post, did this yesterday. Matched Baby Kingdom online price but helps that they are a bricks and mortar store.
