    They're wired into the terminal block on the door opener and make a momentary short in the same way as a hard-wired wall-mounted button - if you have one?

      No I have a gate with remotes, was wondering if this might work with it.

      Now that I've had a chance to have a proper read I can see it wires in, but the wired sensor probably won't be very practical for my gate scenario.

    I looked up your manual, you can access the terminal block (p13) so it should work fine. Conduct your test with GND (Common ground) and OSC (Open/Stop/Close trigger)

  My wifi got Iphone, and I got Android phone.
  Anyone knows if I can set it up for both google and Siri on me & my wife's phone, so we can use this devide?
  I will assume both of us need to create an account of Meross and set it up separatedly?

    Using Homekit requires setting up a Home Hub (typically an Apple TV or Homepod) and then adding the Meross device to it so it can be controlled by Homekit. You will obviously need the Homekit version to do this.

    Using Google Assistant voice control should be as simple as connecting the Meross account to Google Home. Either version will work with Google Home.

    Regardless of OS, and using the Homekit version or not, both iPhone and Android can install the Meross app and control the door using that.
