      Hi there! The majority of the suits are Polyester-Viscose. There is the Monaco which is a Wool Blend but there is no pure woolen suits in this deal. Cheers!

      Yeh. All of them seem to be 65% polyester and 35% viscose… plastic suits :(

    I'm not sure why people are expecting a $120 suit to be 100% wool, this is still a good price for a polyester. Tarocash sells their suits for $329 and they're not wool either. You get what you pay for.

      I also think this is a good deal.

      But as far as I know a bargain means we get MORE than we pay for ;p. Also a reference http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/88632 is an example of a recent 100% wool suit (Pierre Cardin)with two trousers for the price of $159 (a bit more than $120) from a retailer in Australia. But again Hallensteins also has been giving out nice deals so far! :)

          Oops.. I'm sorry.. My bad. I thought it was the same deal like their previous deals on Pierre Cardin suits. I my self bought one on the $149 deal (after the extra $50 off promotion) for a 100% wool suit with two trousers (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/70788). But yeah it's back in May. So pretty much an old deal.

          The deal you originally referenced was with two trousers, but the description on their site was wrong. It's clarified by the rep in the deal post. Doesn't matter, this deal is still good if you're in the market for a cheap suit+shirt+tie. Looks like you can mix and match jacket and trousers, which is good for those who are inclined.

      Sorry, but I just won't wear a plastic suit. When you put on a suit, it has to sit right, and fall correctly, and poly suits just simply won't do this.
      I wouldn't buy a poly suit for even $50.

    In my view, this is a not great deal. You can often get wool suites (two pants) from brand names from TMS for under $150.

    This has Jacket, Pants, shirt, tie. for $119~ delivered.

    The TMS ones are $159, right and have no shirt/tie.. although they have 2 pants. (Maybe be better/worse for you depending on the usage of the suit)

    You can also choose the size of your pants and jackets separately.. the TMS ones are in pre-set size combos which is extremely limiting for people like me with big moobs.

    Having said that the 70% wool one is the only one I would consider!

    I saw this deal on boxing day and bought
    Suit Set + 3 Sunglasses
    I got charged $104 AUD [after 20% off code from the previous post]approx with my 28DegreesCard. (It was free shipping to Aus)
    Now website says, Free shipping to NZ. Is it free to Aus?

    I donno about the quality of suits (I ordered a [70% polyester, 30% viscose], as wool suit wasnt there at that time)

    I will return the Blazer if i dont like the quality. Will comment on the look and feel once after receiving the consignment tomorrow.

    If I measure about 92cm around the chest, would a 92 suit be right or a 96?

      Hi Dan, I would recommend you choose a size 96 since most of the suits in the deal are either slim or skinny fitting it would be a better option to go for that size. If you choose the Copenhagen which is the only classic fitting suit on the deal then the 92 should be sweet! Cheers!

      Hey, same situation here.

      Go with the Chest size when fully inhaled.

      I ordered a 92 and tried it after receiving. Its perfect size (slim fit) [sleeves are a bit short]

      Quality of the Blazer is alright (Polyester) for that price.

      Quality of the shirt isnt as good as expected. (Hi Rep How does returns work? Shipping it back to NZ is almost half of the shirt price)

      Also, they are pretty quick in shipping. They shipped it through DHL to Perth.

    Off topic: Don't get me wrong, I'm tubby myself (102cm waist), but I love the concept of "slim fit" but with a waist size of 112cms. Unless you're like 8 foot tall, there's no way you could call a 112cm waist "slim".     FYI, you could get these for $95~ AUD (70% wool one) for suit, shirt, tie if you wait until the 1/1/13. IMHO that then makes it insanely cheap. The 20% off coupon is supposed to be enabled on the 1st. Assuming the stock / suit is still there.

      Hi there, you should get a size 96 if you haven't done so already. I'm unsure of what A/170 stands for but if you are a size 82 and have slim legs then the 82 will be fine. If you don't want the trousers to fit too slim then you could go for an 87. Cheers!
