      These are in full retail packaging with production date of Feb 2012. These are sourced through Europe and are Made in Japan.

      Yep these are the 2000mAh version (with minimum 1900mAh). They are rechargeable up to 1500 times.

    I checked their ABN (which shows they registered for business from 1989)
    and whois their domain ecomates.com.au which is registered by Byte technology.

    I can't believe I'm asking this but is there a newsletter to subscribe to or some other automated way of knowing when the AAA Eneloops are in stock? Would like a few more of those.

    Also any plans to sell adapters in the future? eBay is saturated with substandard AA to C/D adapters but I'd love to buy some quality Eneloop ones sometime.

    Arrived today (fri) nice and quick, packaging was acceptable, a bit of bubble wrap would've been better. Will buy from again.

    are the batteries still safe to use if they were left in mailbox all day on a hot sydney day?

      Yes, they get hotter than 40 degrees during recharge anyway. You may need to charge yours before use because the self-discharge rate go up with a higher temp.

    Hi everyone. Thought I would add an update to keep everyone informed. The communication with the first deal was a bit poor due to our backend system. For our next deal we will have email updates.

    All orders from the AA Eneloop deal were posted on the 2nd of January. Australia Post Regular Mail usually takes between 5-7 business days. So if you have not received it by now already, you should be getting it later on this week or early next.

    Our AAA Eneloop deal will be up later on this week!

    P.S. It seems Aus Post may have treated a few packages a bit rough, so for our next deal we will be packing it better!

      Also, the date of the battery of the AAA from when it was made (month and year)?
