AmexConnect AU $10 iTunes E-Voucher When You Spend AU $20 at iTunes

290

Get a $10 iTunes e-voucher when you register your Amex card and spend $20 on the Australian iTunes store between now and 12 April 2013. Limited to the first 13000 to register their card details with Amex Connect.

Note, this is limited to bank issued Amex cards only. I tried registering my ACS Amex gold card and was told the offer is only available for bank issued cards.

Wow for the first time they are actually enforcing the whole "only bank issued" thing.
(tried CPA and my Optom association cards)

    • Oh interesting… Does it not normally matter? Haha that's good to know! New to Amex here with my BMW gold card lol

      • BMW giving no annual fee gold card with frequent flyer, and comes with $200 DJ gift card, and another $30 DJ card for issuing subsidiary card (fee free)… so tempted

      • It hasn't mattered for every single other promotion from Amex Connect to date.
Now that they have the system I'm guessing it may apply from here on in

  • Was about to sign up but then thought it works out to spend $20 and get $30. So this is not as good as the BOGOF Hardly Normal deal from a few weeks ago. Though better than the standard 20-25% off deals currently available. However, too many terms and conditions for my liking.

    • Agree, this is one AmexConnect deal probably not worth signing up for

You have until April to spend the $20. I'd sign up anyway just in case I spend enough by then to trigger the voucher.

        • Yeah, why not.

  • Would have been better if the $10 is cashback like the previous amex deals

    • That is what I was hoping for. Been impressed by the Bing Lee, Target and Rebel Sport deals.

Good deal if you are going to spend $20 anyways. Cheers OP

  • must spend $20 in an order?

  • iTunes doesn't include App Store does it?

    • iTunes vouchers are redeemable on the App Store as well as the book store. They're just like any other physical iTunes card you can buy in store.

      • I wasn't asking about the voucher earned.
I'm talking about the $20 spent. I only buy apps.

  • does this work if you ae already registered?

  • What if you have iTunes Store credit already, that means you would have to spend that first, then spend another $20 on top so it goes on your Amex card?

    • I imagine so, yes. Otherwise Amex wouldn't be getting any merchant fees.

  • Worked fine with my westpac alti platinum.

Better than the standard 20-25% off sales.
