Was on Starlink site today and noticed Standard Kit on special!

Looks to be Regional Areas Only due to "congestion" charge within Metro Areas - Tested for VIC and NSW Metro Addresses. Regional Appears to be fine and no additional charge.

The Generation 3 Standard Starlink Kit is on Sale via Starlink (at the moment). Highly likely that being Starlink have done the Sale, all retailers like JB, Harvey Norman, Officeworks and Bunnings will most likely lower their prices (usually within 24 hours). - Due to Regional Areas only, retailers don't drop ther price or price match.

This is more suited for homes and businesses with fixed locations.

      Interesting, I got it fine in 3820. It is "regional areas" so whatever is not a metro area. I would say that those 4 are somewhat regional, but I am now based in NSW. I know that there is "max capacity" in parts of QLD, so it could be borderline.

      I tried an random house address that is for sale in Yamba NSW and got the discount.

      These areas in QLD are sold out - You can see the map here.

      But Op, you're wrong about retailers offering it at a lower price.

      How so? Their websites are still showing close to RRP pricing……..

        But Kyogle, Nimbin in NSW area are regional. Beechmont in Qld is in the mountains behind the Gold Coast, I'd say is regional (being no supermarkets, lots of farms & a pub), but maybe not.
